        Yes other airlines do but i haven't had any other airline send me a txt as i was nearly at the airport says flight cancelled and then leave me stranded for 3 days and imposable to contact .

      after over 2hrs of trying to make payment on multiple browsers (Safari, Edge, Chrome) on 3 laptops and an iPad, and having Marlon from Customer Service saying he can't help me with the payment unless I can give him a flight reference number (which won't generate without a payment!), finally on Chrome/MacBook Air PayPal (very, very slowly) went through… though only as a pre-authorisation, awaiting Jetstar to confirm the transaction. In the meantime lost the seats we wanted (extra legroom). No idea if Jetstar will authorise the payment, or when, and still no booking reference number…

          What's frustrating is after 4 hours of f*ing about a payment finally was made on PayPal, and Jetstar cancelled it - though PayPal transaction is still "awaiting finalisation", and they've already debited my credit card. Meanwhile the price is now $400 extra…

          So I booked with points on the QF site instead, same flights. In order to book extra legroom had to do that on the Jetstar site. Took 5 minutes, quick transaction through PayPal - surprised… so I tried the old transaction again (flights, etc) on Jetstar, and tried PayPal and AfterPay (etc) and they magically all failed. I wonder if the seats are deliberately unobtainable…

    there are no flights for under $300 from adelaide for any of those dates. false advertising?

    edit: my bad. there is 1 flight on 1 day with 1 spot left that’s $199. i guess they’re not lying…
