Haha true. Most of the time i buy clothes based on how it looks on the model. Look at topman's models- 'nuff said. All the same i wouldn't actively discourage people from buying from topman just because their clothes are for the slimmer sort.

Maybe we need to feature more apparel offers from the US (rather than from UK)? At least the size would fit us more.
not all UK brands have weird sizings and not all US brands have the 'ideal' sizing. It all boils down to the brand itself. Which is why i rarely buy clothes from brands i don't own online. You never know if you're gonna look like grandpa-saggypants or cousin-pukealot in them.

most clothes(not footwear/acc) I've bought online have been a failure.
i get a much better outcomes by just going to sales at local retailers.(fyi asos stuff was too small, even when going by measurements.)
Was this asos branded stuff? The one item I bought that was asos branded fit as I expected it to.
i think the pants i got were asos brand.. don't think anything else from them was.
I have a pretty weird shaped body (I am half english, so.. half inbred?? =p)
some people may have no probs with asos.. and at least you can return the item to an aussie address.i remember emailing asos for some specific shirt measurements (think on their brand) and they couldn't provide them for some reason.
think i'll give online clothes a miss, until there are better/flexible measuring systems, and some way to return it for free.. perhaps to a physical depot or something.
I find that I cannot buy pants online. I prefer slim jeans/chinos, but when they get here, they're often too skinny. Doesn't help that when they model it, it looks like there's plenty of space e.g. Levi's 510 jeans.

Highly recommend people DON'T buy from Topman. Their sizing is ridiculous. Ordered a Size M and it would barely fit someone who usually wears an XS.
