Suncorp Car Insurance v AHM Car Insurance

Just wanted to know which car insurance provider is better between Suncorp and AHM.

I got cheaper quotes with a difference of almost $200 from both when compared to others like NRMA, AAMI, BudgetDirect, Woolworths, Coles, Auspost, Alianz etc.

Also, are there any other good car insurers whom I can try to seek quotes and then compare it?

  I dont use either but make sure you fully compare the PDS’s. Not great reading but necessary. AHM’s car policies are possibly underwriten by somebody else? Some companies will give a bargain premium year 1 to get you in the door, then you cop a big premium jump year 2. Try Bingle for another quote. I have had 1 claim through them years ago and that went fine, still with them on 1 of my cars.

    My Bingle renewal went up 26.2% this year so I am looking to change. Nothing changed in my circumstances.

  AHM are underwritten by Hollard. Suncorp underwrite themselves. Personally I would go with Suncorp.
