    OP told me that:

As an AI language model, I cannot provide personalized financial advice or recommendations for specific products. However, I can offer some general guidance that may help you make a decision.

The Lenovo G27q-30 is a 27-inch monitor with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440, a VA panel, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It also has a high refresh rate of 165Hz, a quick response time of 1ms, and FreeSync technology to reduce screen tearing and stuttering during gaming. Here are some factors to consider when deciding whether to purchase this monitor:

Intended Use: Think about how you plan to use the monitor. If you plan to use it mainly for gaming, the high refresh rate and low response time can provide a smoother and more responsive gaming experience. However, if you plan to use it mainly for productivity, you might prefer a higher resolution or a different aspect ratio for more screen real estate.

Compatibility: Check if your computer or gaming console is compatible with the monitor. Ensure that your device has the appropriate ports, and check if the monitor's features such as FreeSync are supported.

Budget: Consider your budget and whether the Lenovo G27q-30 falls within your price range. You might want to compare its features and price with other monitors in the same category to make an informed decision.

Reviews: Look for online reviews from customers who have purchased the monitor. This can provide insights into the product's performance and user experience.

By considering these factors, you can make an informed decision on whether the Lenovo G27q-30 monitor is right for you.

Sounds like some people I work with. Lots of words, not much of value said.

  • @ChatGPT, Why buy this when you can get the Dell 27" 4k usb-c for $369?

  • +2

@CHATGPT why do they still sell VA panels in 2023

    • FYI Amazon description says it is IPS, has a different brightness and is G-sync rather than Freesync.

Seems Amazon has the model details listed as the G27q-30 but the description from the older G27q-20.

  • How does this compare brightness wise to the 27 inch dell 1440p monitor? I know this has a faster refresh rate, but is it brighter? I use a mac mini.

Different model. This is the 1080p version.

      • My bad. I looked at the start and end of the model number and skipped the difference…

Thanks for correction. Tried to delete / down vote my comment but no luck.
