Just be careful D-Link is ending the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Monitor Apps and Cloud Services for lots of old products. Not sure how long this could take.

  My indoor camera stopped working after about 2 years of use. It was a perfectly fine 1080p camera. They want me to fork out $100s for their new system with no guarantee on when they will end support for them too. I'd steer clear of D-Link.

Checked with D-Link again, DCS-8331KT and all current models are not affected. Only few models that have been discontinued more than 10 years ago have supported ceased and D-Link said they have compensation for those discontinued products to continue receive support. But I am not sure how it works. Anyway, getting two now. Cheap.
