  • ??? the Switch already connects to bluetooth headphones?

  • +1

There is a reason its so cheap now. Both switches got an update. Article

  • A little out of date and unnecessary. The $1 price is a dead give-away.

  • +1

Utterly worthless. Switch does bluetooth audio natively now

  • +1

useless adaptor since Switch has bluetooth support

  • +1

Switch can already natively do this without the add on.

  • +1

should go to bin straight away.

    I know it's useless but it's an Nintendo accessory for $1 🤣.

    • +3

It is a third party accessory made for Nintendo Switch.

      • But even for $1, it's still useless no?

        • It might of had some value to collectors if it was an official Nintendo product
But functionally useless in any case

          • @FireRunner: It's 3rd party but it was hard to see that is was. It's useless and I was joking about how expensive Nintendo accessories are. Idk why people are mad 🤣

        • I wasn't saying you should buy it.

          • -3

@HaydosK: Then don't up vote it and trick some unsuspecting buyer. You are being the problem.

      • -1

        Yes I know.

  • +2

i guess it could be handy if someone had a very outdated pirate switch.

    • +2

I have a modded switch, you can still get system updates even when banned.

      • +1

I do too lol - but haven’t updated in years tbh. And I’m so ootl I’d prob cbf now I have steam deck

  • I thought switch always had Bluetooth? Am i missing something

    • +1

It didn't always support Bluetooth audio but it did get an update that fixed that.

  • +9

The standard Switch Bluetooth only uses SBC for audio which has significant audio lag.

What you want to know is whether the dongle supports more than SBC like APTX or anything other audio codec.

If it does then it'd be worth buying for 1 dollar if your wireless audio device supports it.

It's not a matter of the switch now having Bluetooth audio, it's whether the dongle can support high end and low latency audio connections, which the Switch natively does not.

    • +5

After all these comments this guy actually has something useful to say. I'll see if I can get one and let you guys know how the lag is

      • +2

I suspect it’s probably not much better.
Also having a dongle sticking out the bottom isn’t ideal.

      • +3

The lag is exactly the same as the built in Switch Bluetooth Audio. No reason to buy these.
