Seems like each one of these virtue-signal conflated products flops & ends up heavily discounted. Do they not bother to make a decent beer & just slap the branding on assuming it'll be enough?

For your sake too (I am doing dry Feb so no point ordering). I really DGAF what the message is they're trying to convey, only what the quality of the contents is like!
These products always wind up discounted because of contracts. BWS has its standard supplies then a rotating number of "special" products, reach the end of the promo and out the door it goes to replace with something else. Doesn't mean it wasn't a success, but it's never meant to last forever on the shelves and I'm sure it'll make a resurgence in 12 months.
I bought the Bridge Road triple chocolate 'eggster' beer for $8 a 4 pack a month after easter last year, retail was something like $25. Or those little whiskey samplers, they're always cheap after Christmas.

It's an annual, charitable repackaging of their tasty "One Love" Pale Ale so it's targeted at a cause they support at a specific time of year. It was done last year as well.
Interesting that the rebrand doesn't seem to resonate with the broader market, I don't believe I have ever seen a BLB product so heavily discounted.

Needs to be longer and harder to get past my lips.
yes 4.4% is borderline (almost light-mid strength) but i approve at $1.67 a can. Best to get the 6-7% range if you want a nice buzz

Picked up my order and it is actually a really nice beer. It was really fresh too, had a best before date of 09/01/24.
Wish I had bought a few more packs.
