210

Hi All,
We just bought one another 2 of these chair for the office. We are currently using 2 of these for the last 2 years and it is still going strong especially the cushioning. This is quite a good quality and solid build chair for the price. We bought these 2 chairs 2 years ago for around $250 each (as per the last ozbargain deal from Banggood).

I post this for anyone looking for a value chair for around $180.

  • Generic chair.

Own this chair. Best part is the seat, its super padded.

Plastic construction mostly, base bolts fall out constantly.

Arm rests on both sides destroyed/fell apart after about a year and I was looking for a new chair… The price here is about what the chair is worth.

    • Just did a quick search online, found these arm rest for $49 @ amazon:

      https://www.amazon.com.au/DXRacer-Armrest-OA-ARM144L-N-1-3D/…

Not sure if the bolt hole aligned, might need some modification ie drilling.

    • I don't have this chair but had armrest that fell apart. I just ordered some arm rest pads off ebay if that's something you'd consider. So comfortable.

No one has ever paid $434.99 for this chair.

      Hold my beer.

  • i wonder if the kogan seller is selling original blitzwolf product..? i saw one on ebay but it seems to to replica/generic link is https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/354514541185

Who know, probably all coming from the same Chinese factory without the Blitzwolf logo

here is another listing for $108.23 with the 12% ebay plus discount code :FEB202312
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/134409888143

anyone want to save $71.76 can try buying the chair, it has all the Blitzwolf marketing pictures with the BW-HOC05 labelled in one of the display picture.

  • Does anyone know a good chair for 8 + hours that is comfortable and good for the back

… and the bank as well? Does Ozbargain have a favorite chair?

      • +1

        Ergohuman

        • that's a brand not a chair

  • I've had this for 1.5 years. Think it is worth the money and if it broke I would probably buy another one.

Only real issue I've had is one of the armrests randomly comes apart once every few months - they are built like Lego though so you can just put it back together pretty easily.

    • how's the back/lumbar support? is it good enough for long hours?

      • +1

Once you get it all adjusted to how you like it - yes I would say so.

I use it pretty heavily and have never felt it wanting in terms of support or experienced any back pain. It feels very solid/sturdy (other than the armrests).

    • What is the seat material made of? Is it breathable?

      • +2

Not really breathable. It's fabric around a dense/thick cushion. It's comfortable.

I've never really had any issues with the seat getting uncomfortably hot though.

        • Thanks!

I can't comment on the quality of those wheels, but they look stock standard.

If you're into chair racing, or just want smoother gliding wheels, then I'd be upgrading them to something like this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/144766459108 or this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/30428224977

  • If you are under 180cm tall this chair is too high at the lowest level. You will need a foot rest or U have disproportionately long legs.

  • Can anyone who owns this tell me what the actual seat is made of? Is it breathable? Will it be comfortable in summer on bare skin?

    • +2

We have two of the chairs, the cushion cover is cloth fabric material (breathable) and the cushion is very thick (not sure of the material but I don’t think it is very breathable).
It can get quite hot, but I didn't find it that bad in summer however we do have air conditioning on.

      • Thanks!

  • I have this chair and personally I hate the mound on the seat, it pushes up on the wrong spots if you get my drift.

  • does anyone here knows where to buy knoll brand chairs?

i am currently using office work chair worth $179 i think and within a month i started to have pain in my one bottom and leg ….. so basically cushion which is still bit thick but seems has unbalanced loading causing it to sag to create pressure more on one side then others, however at work i have knoll brand chair and i used it for years without any issue..> ! so it seems issue with cushion then how i use it i guess.

so looking to buy something knoll brand or similar.. but can't seems to find retailer on ebay or amazon even… obviously not looking for something worth $1000 .. !
