What Should I Do if The Seller Accepts My RMA Returns but Does Not Process Refund/Exchange

Hi all.

I purchased a motherboard from ShoppingExpress but the motherboard had serious coil whine noise, so the seller accepted my RMA return request. The Auspost system showed that the seller received my return on 18 January.

It has been over 3 weeks, but I still have not heard anything from them. I sent multiple emails inquiring the return process status but received no reply. I called them as well, but their answering machine said due to COVID blah blah blah, they do not take phone call….

What should I do when I send emails with no reply and call them with no one answering?

Thanks

due to COVID blah blah blah, they do not take phone call

Can you catch COVID over a phone call? 😲

    • yah

      • Only if you are using 5G

  • ShoppingExpress is notorious for terrible after sales support. Contact the manufacturer of the mobo, and ask them to follow up with ShoppingExpress for the rma.

Similar thing happened to me, and the manufacturer were a big help in that regard.

The manufacturer definitely does not like retailers taking their time on rmas, as it reflects badly on them as well.

You can give someone COVID over the phone???

  • Had a similar issue with CPL. Returned a DOA monitor to them the next day and they never refunded so I had to initiate a CC chargeback. Got my money back after a month.

    • I purchased with Zippay so CC chargeback may not work on me

Curious then why you haven't already pursued a refund with the assistance of Zip Pay under their Zip Buyer Protection Policy?

    Please explain?

Maybe they didn't know about that? Thanks for pointing it out in a snarky way though, I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

        I'm asking the OP.
        Suggest you just butt out.
