Now yes, before, not so much.

If you own Corelle® dinnerware from before 2005, consider removing it from your kitchen cabinets due to concerns for high levels of Lead. Corelle® recommends using their pre-2005 dishes as “decorative pieces”

Lol white plates dont use lead, difference bettwen AI and good old human IQ

      • Your link specifically shows patterned Corelle, not the white that was available in Australia. Explains it too. We're OK

Have had this stuff explode after moving from microwave to benchtop
    Extremely fine shards went everywhere
bit awkward as was barefoot in my kitchen

    Just be wary/warned

Did love corelle prior to this

I had mine cracked from the microwave. I was trying to do popcorn in it so maybe a bit too long and not even heating.

      I still love corelle.

      • They state explicitly on their website not to do popcorn

    • Did you drop it before hand. Or a lot.

This one https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/oftast-serving-bowl-white-00439… fantastic, different sizes as well.

    • +2

Have used both. There is something about corelle that makes it nice to hold/use. Worth that extra money IMO.

      • I think the ikea ones are thinner too, at least they feel that way.

        • That's probably because of the thicker rounded edges on the corelle.

  • Getting expensive by the day.
