  • So it is PVC, yet rubber based?
Which is it, I assume PVC.

Spend a little more and buy something decent, this stuff is garbage. I use Nitto personally

      Ditto for Nitto!

    • I really like the 3M Temflex 1610 stuff from the wholesalers too, it's got a good tear off

      • How's the adhesive residue?
Some tapes coat your fingers with goop when you unwind them later on.

  • To me, electrical tape is a bit of a last resort. I try and use other methods, such as heat shrink, where I can.
It's obviously a bit subjective, but I find that it can lose its stickiness over time, leave a residue and really thin cables can be difficult to do.

But as I said, just my personal opinion and this looks like a pretty decent deal.

  • These have been on the clearance shelf a t my local for $6 for a few weeks.
Just wait and they might get cheaper at your own.
