ESET Internet Security 3-Device 3-Year $159.90 + 17% Cashrewards Cashback @ ESET

61

I'm sure someone will come along with a cheaper solution, however, as i've previously mentioned, I couldn't imagine the deals we saw 18 months or so ago from Harris and the likes being repeated.

Having waiting for awhile now, decided to bite the bullet.

Without going into the reasons I use eset over others, this deal seems to be reasonable.

eset Internet Security.
3x devices, 36 months - $239.85
Discount - $80
plus 17% on Cashrewards.

+/- $130 for 3 devices over 36 mth
or - $44 per yr
which is $14 odd for each device for each year and no need to think about it again for 3 yrs.

Just in case anyone else is interested.

There is discounts on 1x device over 12 months and up… So knock yourself out if you want, or simply ignore… If found better - post up! :)

I am so used to getting yearly license keys for sub $10
Where did those deals go? :(
Best I have found is $15 per device per year but even then that's from random sellers.

    • yeah used to be very cheap on saveonit website. not anymore

ESET is fantastic, can't stress that enough, but I haven't supported them since SaveOnIt stopped offering the 3 device 1 year licences for $10.00 - $12.00 (Verified those prices as per my previous Invoice history).

I'm sure most people these days are using Windows Defender + Firewall.

I'm currently using F-Secure SAFE as per this deal

  • Probably a good buy if you are a sloppy clicker and click on bad things.

Yeah, SaveOnIT Kaspersky for me, it'll do the job and 1/4 of the price

    • I always used Kaspersky when I had windows computers and always worked great.
Moved to Linux a few years ago and no more need for antivirus.

  • Holy shit this price…..I paid $20 last year for 3 years from saveonIT

  • what in the F?

    inflation hits AV aswell?

No, it's not worth the price.

I've been in anti-virus for over 5 years (although I don't do it anymore),
its(EIS) active defense is not the strongest, and HIPS and sandboxing have brought various bugs in the past. Besides, for the vast majority of people, an additional firewall is not needed on win10 and win11.

If you don't mind, using Kaspersky free or the kind of antivirus software like Norton or Trend Micro (they often offer discounted prices) that costs $10/year is the most economical.

    • Im not sure why you're negged.

Ive used ESET since their founding year, when they first got reviewed in AtomicMPC.

But, I too reverse engineer malware, and agree.

Currently the strongest hips/Zero day (heuristic) is either BitDefender or Norton. Cosely followed by Kaspersky.

I think there's a HUGE group of people who never re-evaluated Norton after they truly rewrote their product from scratch. I still dont support them; but facts are facts.

I like BitDefender though, because GDPR.

      • LOL
If you read carefully, you will see that I don't hate ESET, I just disagree the price.

        • Not sure what the 'lol' is about;
But, anyway, of course not. I dont think anyone could have misconstrued your post for hatred.

  • Hm that's massively expensive. I have kaspersky for 29$. 3 devices for a year

    • Compared to what?

Eset compared to eset, its not bad at all! ha!

      • Compared to the competition. Kaspersky. 😊

        • (Wog boy scene) - Not the same boat!

          hahahahha

  • ESET was good at $10-$15 3 devices per year. Seems they have now doubled their price.

You can still get Kaspersky Internet Security for 3 devices per year @ $15. (YES I KNOW ITS RUSSIAN)….

    • "which is $14 odd for each device for each year and no need to think about it again for 3 yrs."

So… in this case - not Russian and good price then.
