On May 9 the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be offered. If you haven’t redeemed the titles in this collection yet, you can still do so before May 9, which will enable you to access those titles even after this date for as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus member.
You will lose access to them once your sub expires.
What happens if you have redeemed them then you sub expires and your renew after some time.
As long as you redeemed them, they become playable again if you renew.

Yes you need to claim it and add it to your library. Once it's in your library you can DL it to the PS4. That's if you are still playing games on the PS4.
Yeah I think you can only access it from the PS5.
I signed up for one month and got most of them without owning a console. This was through the website 2-3 games needed to be done on a console.

just got a ps5 the other day can safely say gamespass shits all over the ps plus
I’ve got both as well… honestly as a hard working Aussie dad that legit gets to play maybe 3 games a year… I don’t think GamePass delivers as much value as everyone makes out… it’s been a pretty lean run lately for AAA first party releases on Xbox and honestly at this point it might just be better value to buy Starfield when it comes out and unsubscribe.

yea it doesn't its not worth it for any dads as casual gamer. in fact I got my PS5 just for a free game like Genshin impact which i pay nothing for. Its an AAA title none of these subscription rubbish, if you want to spend that's fine, but its optional
For the money I reckon it's crazy good value. Sony's AAAs have it solidly beat (note you have to buy them if you want them day 1) but for anything AA to indie they have a tonne of fantastic stuff.
You do know things like music, taste in food and especially video games are highly subjective right? It's fine if you like/dislike a game
Fair call, I managed to string together 3 years of game pass ultimate for about $120, so I'm hoping that I get my money back via Starfield and Redfall. Anything on top of that is a bonus

However, if you really think about it, this is a move from Sony to entice new PS5 owners to subscribe to a higher tier of PS Plus.

Just add them to your library. However, if you have an active PS Plus, you most likely would have already done so. If you haven't got them and elected to go through free trial or buy 1 month option, you might as well download some and play them.

List of games leaving the PlayStation isn’t a deal. You could’ve added an expiry to the long running post instead of making another PSA to get internet points
It's to do with the title. That title alerts people (which is good), but you would argue is this really a deal? Essentially, this is:
Sony PS Plus Collection - 18 games to collect (deal expires May 5)
But, even with that, some people will then feel this is a duplicate. The original PS Plus Collection post years ago should be resurrected with an expiry date set.
How do you download these on the PS app? In the app I go to PS Store > Subscription, but can only see the games for January 2023.
