Hey guys.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is currently 67% off on the PSN Store at the moment, and is the cheapest I've seen it.
Great roster of characters with super fun, and accessible gameplay :)

Ha do ken
I stopped playing after the original launch was abysmal. I didn't want to ever buy SF again as a result of how much they abused their fanbase with that terrible launch of a game. Championship edition should have been their launch title.
Companies need time to build on the original title. It is just like SF4 having a bigger roster and updates over time. You cant expect USFIV to be the launch title in 2008.
Street fighter IV had a decent launch title though. As a fan who has bought all titles. Sfv was the first time i felt betrayed by the team. Yoshinori Ono was always driven by his fan base. But I think the message was quite clear for SF v .. I normally preorder all my streetfighters. 6 won't be a pre order. Will see how it looks and how many characters are included from launch.
I suspect Capcom have a lot to do with the monetisation of the series. I sure as hell don't think Ono was behind this
Anyway for anyone who didn't buy the game prior at this price it's a no brainer.
I agree SF5 launch was horrible. I did stop playing for a while until they fixed some of the major issues. But I think after Year 1, the game got much better and now it is in a very good state. I got confidence SF6 will be ok.
Capcom like every other company needs to pay their staff and keep the servers running. So as long the monetisation is reasonably priced (not like Overwatch or COD), Im happy to support. On a $/per hr value, SF series is probably the best value for money game to me. I get much less from other games.
@KaTst3R: I think it was the arcade edition that made fans come back to the game.which realistically should have been a free upgrade to original owners. Also the problem with owning it on playstation is that if you bought the original you couldn't buy another edition of the same game. And the upgrades rarely went on sale. So it kept punishing original owners
@maverickjohn: From that point of view, I understand. I paid full price for all the passes. The late purchaser of the game will always win.
I hope we as long time fans get better treatment and value for money. And i also hope there is USFIV remake with better netcode.
Completely agree with both of your comments. Massive fan of SFIV and even bought every edition (og, super and arcade). Bought SFV at launch and never touched it since and now I'm incredibly down on the series as a whole.
It is a great price for anyone who has some interest in the game and want to give it a go before SF6 drops mid year.
thinking of getting SFV champion edition on steam, but there got lots of version, with all those upgrade version etc etc.
also some season pass..
what are the difference?
which one should i buy? any advise. Thanks
from what i read, season 5 pass got extra characters?
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/18851/Street_Fighter_V…
That's pretty much the complete edition of the game. All the characters are included in that bundle for 76$..
You can save $30ish by not getting the season 5 pass bundle, just play the game enough and you will collect more than enough ingame currency to buy the season 5 characters and stages.
I've done some of this. The main story and the character stories are enough for 3 character purchases. So probably won't take to log to get the others.
Thanks for the tip.
Thanks finally got a copy for the ps5 :)
Thanks, I'll try it before SF6.
The game scans for dlc when you boot up. If in future the servers shut. Does the champion edition revert back to base version minus all dlc content?
Great price, lots of gameplay left in it as sf 6 coming in June.
