Score an Apple Watch Series 8 Silver Stainless Steel (45mm) with the Silver Milanese Band for a decent price.

Surcharges: 1.2% Card & PayPal, 2% AmEx.

Although many would recommend getting the Series 7 equivalent from the Apple Refurb Store, I have been looking into this for quite a while;

-A series 7 Stainless Steel (any colour), currently, can only be found with a silicon band, coming to $889. Adding the Milanese band (band new), which is $150, brings the total to $1,039, inclusive of shipping.
-I haven't been able to find listings for a Series 7 Stainless Steel (any colour) included with the Milanese band package in the Refurb Store.. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it though but can't imagine it being hugely less than the $1,039 above.
-I acknowledge that the Series 8 does not bring that much more to the table over the Series 7.

Brand new, this product is $1,259 from Apple - currently $1,179 + $5 Shipping ($8.95 to remote areas) from Centre Com; saving $75.

Not huge but a deal's a deal.

    The watch band can be reused on future watches at least. Every model of Apple Watch has compatible bands, well all the big watches bands are compatible and all the small ones are compatible anyway. Of course you can buy fake Milanese Loop bands for like $5 from China. I been using a fake $5 gold Milanese Loop since the first Apple Watch and it's held up great.

  Cheaper way is to buy direct from Apple using Apple gift cards from Woolies/Coles promos with reward points, equivalent to 10% off (seem to come up every month). Stack with CR or SB cash back, usually 1.5%, sometimes as high as 5-10%. Free shipping, no credit card surcharge and 14 days to change your mind.
