I think I know the answer but maybe can be confirmed.
If I was to buy a third party gift card in-store at Woolies or Big W, I'm no longer able to use Wish/BigW/Woolies gift cards to pay right?
I'm also going to assume that there wouldn't be any staff discount applied to gift cards either right? (know a staff member but no point bothering them about it if don't get discount anyway)
There is no known way to directly use a gift card issued by Woolworths Group to pay for any gift cards sold at Woolworths or BIG W or EG Ampol or BWS or Dan Murphy's.
The last instance I heard of someone being able to do this was during the early days of the Everyday Pay test phase in mid-2022.
You can always give it a shot to see whether it will work for you, but don't have high expectations. The worst that could happen is that staff will give you a quick lecture about how you cannot use gift cards to purchase gift cards.
The Woolworths Group team member used to work for gift cards purchased instore at Woolworths, but this appears to have stopped by the end of 2021.
