I have one of these, it does the job. I just use if for charging deep cycle battery for fridge and occasional flat car battery. Does as advertised. Screen can be a bit difficult to read but a good unit at this price point.

    • Also owned one of these previously. I did notice that mine over charged batteries, so it would hang on 90% or so for ages. Do you have a similar experience on flat batteries?

      • not sure TBH, I know it drops the amps as the battery get closer to full so the last part can take ages but that's how smart chargers work. Pretty sure it has different profiles for each battery type.

  • I have one of those stop-start car battery. Will this be a right charger for it?

    • Century batteries suggests charging amperage of at least 10% of the battery capacity. Another company suggests 6A charging is sufficient for up to 130Ah batteries. So it would depend just how large your battery is, but if it is just used to top up the battery it should be sufficient regardless.

  • Does this have the same specs ?

    • I would like to know this too.

When I read this, it sounds like it is converting a 6V motorcycle battery to a 12v car battery.
