Samsung Website Trade-in offer for Samsung Galaxy S23

They are running a $250 trade in offer for "eligible devices"

I see my device is listed as $0 trade in value with $250 bonus.

If I redeem the bonus trade in value but didn't return my device to Samsung what would happen? Since the offered value for the device is $0 does that mean they won't charge me anything?

    Could end up being cheaper to just buy a 50% off voucher from someone with access to them.
