      The device I wanted to trade in was not on the website, but went through fine when I downloaded the app.

      • no app for ios, it opens web site and we have to manually select the device, found galaxy watch 4 on android app though, just $55 :/

  • My order got abruptly cancelled..I had ordered couple of days back and it was scheduled to ship from 2nd March..any idea why it could happen?

      went with afterpay… had an old cc in (card no. got hacked/stolen had to cancel- got a new one and didnt change it in the afterpay app)
      updated it and afterpay submitted payment to samsung… after order was 'suspended'

      seems ok now.

      • I don't have the patience to deal with them after prior experiences..they cancelled and refunded the amount to my credit card account in less than 24 hours post cancellation..no idea why..

        I had couple of items which were supposed to ship only from 2nd March..don't know if that triggered the cancellation..but just guessing..

        This was the first preorder of my life..looks like it wasn't meant to be :)

      EDU store isn't eligible as far as I know…… And anyways you don't get points until 14 days after receiving the phone. I am more than happy buying thru the public website…..$150 in reward points

    I think it's because I ordered the "65W Power Adapter Trio", which appears OOS and says it ships from 02 Mar 2023. I think it's holding up my entire order.

    • I ordered on the 16th (S23 Ultra 512gb, Watch5, Leather case), was shipped on 17th and expected to arrived tomorrow (20th).

    • Had a similar situation with my charger holding up the rest of the order. I contacted live chat support and they were able to split the shipment so my phone and case come earlier.

    • Ah! Finally preparing dispatch (for the in stock items) on the 6th day. Now to see how long it takes to ship.

  • have an order from the 12th for 1 x Galaxy S23+ (Online Exclusive) graphite 256gb, and its stuck in customizing, got 2 screen protectors and 2 45w chargers and they are, Preparing dispatch for the last 4 days… so yeah i feel it also lol!

    • I ordered on the 2nd and it just landed from overseas yesterday. Show’s it’s on the way but no tracking link provided yet.

      • Interesting, I also ordered an exclusive colour but I do not have this order process like the one in your sceenshot.
        Mine is the same as other items. And my order hasn't shipped too.

          Samsung has three different order UIs (at least) that show different stages. I took that screenshot on my ipad. On my phone it doesn't have the "headed to Australia" stage and on my laptop it shows that it isn't even despatched yet. I expect better from a big multinational like Samsung.

            @dingle: From what I could gather, Samsung seem to bulk post on Monday's. That's at least one reason for the delay, I ordered Monday morning last week (13/02) and it was preparing for dispatch from Wednesday (15/02) but didn't ship until yesterday afternoon (20/02). It's with the postie out for delivery today.

            Agreed, I expect better from a large company such as Samsung, trying to save such a small amount of money but in the process creating a much worse customer experience. At least give accurate eta's on the product page…smh

      Ordered my white / cream s23 ultra from jbhifi, got it a day early.

      Esr shock is a great case to protect the phone.

      • yeh, it was for a mate, i got mine phantom black 3 days after ordering on the 12th, on a positive, the s23+ screen protectors and the 2 45w chargers got shipped today!

    for all those still waiting (like myself!), if you go to this page: https://www.samsung.com/au/shop-faq/delivery-and-installatio… and click on the "here" hyperlink in the second paragraph, when you enter your order number and click on more details, it will give you an "arrives on" date.

    It's not immediately clear whether this is when it arrives at Samsung's facility for dispatch, or when it arrives at the final shipping address, but at least it a little more information than the my orders page.

  • Got the email on monday to send in my trade in phone. The whole process was pretty easy and painless.
    Took it to the post office showed them the email they scan a QR code get you to sign form. Hand over the phone receive a receipt and done.

    • I also sent mine but didnt get asked to sign anything :S

  • I have had the phone for 2 weeks and have not got a return email for the trade in yet. But you can prompt / request for a return label through https://samsungtradeup.asurion.com.au/. My trade in looked to expire at 6th March so Ill return it just incase and get my security deposit back.

    so yeh, false expectations on date at order time, with no idea when the phone will be dispatched.

    • Quite disappointing when the order was placed the 3-4 weeks on special colours wasn't mentioned unlike last year.

      Shipping starts from tomorrow probably few more weeks before I get it :) lol

    • Yeah, it's super disappointing given the advertised arrival date was "by the 23rd". My graphite ultra is still processing…

      It adds insult to injury when these online exclusive colours have been flying out the door internationally. Some people in other countries received their phones weeks ago.

  • So asurion charged me $30 today, possibly for not returning the device. I was expecting it to be $60.

    Has anyone else had a charge yet?

    • If you looked at the trade in conditions when you were purchasing, mine said $30 as well. I returned my broken s7 anyways, it would have sat in a drawer for another few years otherwise

      • It said $60 in the terms and that's what I was charged last year too for not returning my phone.

        • Fair enough, mine says up to $60 maybe charged, with $30 specifically mentioned. Maybe that’s why they only charged you $30

  • I know about the $30/60 non-return fee to Asurion if you opt not to send them the trade-in device, but just wondering if anyone here has ever had Samsung charge them the trade-in bonus credit as a penalty on top of that?

      asurion/as a contractor looks after the trade in/have no clue of the trade in bonus

        and yes samsung does have it preregistered for you but still good idea to go check IMEI/details etc
        and that you can log in… so when u wanna swap over phone u can…

    I just got charged a late return fee by Asurion, because they think I did not return the device to them yet. AusPost tracking shows the parcel with my traded-in phone was delivered to them on the 23rd Feb. (profanity)$! Now I have to deal with their horrible customer service to resolve this. Just a warning to those of you sending the phone in - beware!

    • Is that different to the 'admin' fee($30/$60) for not returning the phone?

      • Not sure. They called it a late return fee in the email. I just realised they consider that fee non-refundable. Oh boy, I am going to have a lot of "fun" arguing with them. That is if one can even get through to them to speak to someone, based on past experience. That company is more like a virus. I can't believe a large global company such as Samsung can provide such poor customer experience and continue to partner with Asurion. Goes on to show what they think of their customers.

  • Anyone still waiting for their phone?
    Pre-ordered white on the 16th Feb, has been stuck in "awaiting dispatch" for the last 2 weeks.
    There was an initial delay because there was no stock of the galaxy buds, but the order says it's in stock now.
    The delivery date keeps on getting pushed back and back.
    It was due to arrive on 5th March, now it has been pushed back until 21st March.
    Over a month delay is pretty ridiculous.

    Just want to see if anyone in the same boat.
    I've contacted customer care via online chat, but they just say they are waiting for the warehouse to allocate stock and couldn't give me any specific information.

        They just keep on telling me either they are waiting for courier to pick it up or stock is getting allocated by the warehouse….. I'm just getting the run around….. no one can give me a straight answer……

          Nope at first, it seemed the watch was gonna be shipped first as phone had estimated mid march delivery then unexpectedly i get sms'd tracking number.
