Hi all. Am wanting to get a tablet just for camera monitoring - I'd put it on the wall to have while I'm working from home in my study nook.
Aldi's current catalogue has a Lenovo M10 third gen for $199 - touch cheaper than Officeworks etc.
Ideally would just have it on while working and then will remove from wall and put in bedroom on a weekend for example.
CCTV monitors are just on a web browser.
What do you think? Would Lenovo be right do you think or one even cheaper be fine?

Completely unhelpful mate
Even worse than that, it was completely unfunny.
Nurofen?
just for camera monitoring
just get a refurb or 2nd hand one then and save your money.
If you’re just loading video stream anything should do it - just need to ensure the operating system is supported by the app (if any) other than basic internet browser
Yeah would just use the browser for CCTV
I got an Alldocube tablet to use as Home Assistant dashboard during a previous ozbargain deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/750262
Have it wall mounted replacing the old alarm keypad. Pretty happy with it: https://imgur.com/a/iBeF6aj
That's looks good 👍 how did you install ?
If only for that purpose and not browsing thru, that's okay, price is right. But if you're concerned with performance, I would suggest staying away from Lenovo, it's a crap brand with crap products. I had an old Huawei Android 6 tablet and even Lenovo's Android 11 wasn't able to catch up with my Huawei, really slow and frustrating, so these days I'm just using that Lenovo tablet for GPS…
Panadol.
