Jimothyxrenpho

G’day mates,

New month and your uncle Jimothy is back with a new Renpho deal - During my previous massager based deals, I had received quite a few requests from ozbargain members for a special ozbargain exclusive on the Renpho Foot Spa Bath Massager (cringe acting warning) - it’s taken weeks of back and forth negotiation but happy to present todays deal of:

Renpho Spa Massager - was $189.99 now $108.

As per all my previous postings, I always recommend to pay using a no international fee card as some users reported an international fee was charged for conversion

Easily cheaper than the cheapest that I could find charted on camel^3- Aus

This unit is a massaging unit with roller based massagers with water jets, and heat function, as well as being able to accept bath salts/medicinal herbs if you are so inclined.

Update -

i have been advised by Renpho:

Renpho has advised the product is supplied with a plug with no earth pin and has indicated the product is safe and suitable for sale into Australian market. Furthermore Renpho has advised this product has passed RCM certification tests (electrical safety/EMC).

Overview from website:

Foot spa with heat and massage and jets: The electric foot spa massager uses water, massage rollers, and heat to provide warmth and improve circulation. The deep foot bath helps relieve pain, stress, tension, and anxiety. The foot massager machine spa is suitable for elderly people, insomniacs, athletes, people with cold feet, and more

PTC heater with adjustable temperature and timer: PTC heater system quickly heats and maintains a constant temperature. Choose your desired warmth ranging from 95°F to 118°F (35℃ to 48℃). Increase the temperature gradually from a low temperature to choose your suitable heat. PTC heater includes leakage protection and more secure multi-insulation protection, so it’s safer for you to enjoy a relaxing foot spa massager. You can set the timer from 10 to 60 minutes

3 automatic foot bath massage modes and bubble jets: The high-quality automatic massage rollers target acupuncture points smoothly and firmly. Select from 3 foot bath modes: continuous rolling, even time intervals, and unequal time intervals. The foot bath default massage time is 15 minutes. Bubble jet function provides powerful bubbles during the foot bath massage, which can effectively relax your soles and add more comfort for your foot spa bath massage

Easy to use and clean: This foot spa massager has wheels, a handle, and a drainpipe. Easily drag or lift the foot bath massager using the handle and the wheels even the water level is at the Max Water Line. Empty it using the drainpipe so you won’t need to lift it

An ideal gift : Every foot bath massager will operate an inspection with water before leaving the factory, so the foot bath massager has water signs inside, which is a normal phenomenon. The foot spa with heat and massage and jets is a great gift for your family and friends, providing them relaxation

  • Can this be used only as massager wthout the foot spa functions sometime

    • +1

Fairly confident it can be but I can’t find a manual online and my one is not shipped yet so I can confirm myself.

I’ve asked marketing to confirm and will update hopefully a little today.

    • it says on the device 'Do not use without water' so you might be able to turn off the foot spa functions but your feet will still be sitting in water.

      • If that’s what the user meant then yes - it cannot just be used as a dry massager. I thought they meant can the jet spa bubble function be turned off. You are right there 100% needs to have water in the unit.

  • Hey Jimothy what's the main difference between this and the Renpho foot massager? I have that one (wife loves it!) but is this foot-spa version better? Or does it target the feet differently? Thanks

    • +1

I wouldn’t say better, just different. I personally prefer the standard dry one for a more intense massage. This one is more just roller based…

My misso wants to add some Chinese herb stuff into it (apparently detox and other effects but I personally don’t believe in any of that).

      • Link?

        • No link, I don’t endorse those type of products. Just look up ‘Chinese foot soak’ and that’s what I mean. Usually comes in little pack like as if it was a tea bag. She used to have a wooden tub with the little bumps along bottom which she would soak her feet in with a pack of this herb mix thing

Thanks mate any chance to get the dry massager on offer .missed last few and will be nice gift for Valetines day

  • will this cure my cracked heel?

    • I’m no specialist but I would almost be confident in saying no sorry

    • will this cure my cracked heel?

      I don't think so

    • No, but if you are overweight then losing weight might fix it.

  • Any plan of a special for Air Compression Leg Massager?

    • Haven’t been asked for that one to be honest, kinda looked a bit clunky imo. Can be my next request to marketing?

  • Is it safer to use? A lot of Chinese foot massager has very high risk of getting electrocuted because it was designed for Chinese domestic use and there is no safety method

    • +1

Valid point, and a point that I did bring up with marketing prior to trying to negotiate a deal. Manual makes it very clear the unit must be grounded - I will ask them again to see if we can get a photo of the actual power cord on the units being shipped now. If it has the earth pin it should be fine (a reasonable person would assume). ****I’m not an offical rep so can only go off assumptions and what I see.

    • Can you point for source for this electrocution claim?

      • +1

It’s water and electricity - not really separated by much - What more source do you need about possible danger?

    • To clarify I have been advised by Renpho:

  • Thannnks Uncle Jimothy.
I'm happy with the quality of my Renpho massager gun.

    • +2

Glad to hear you’re happy with the massager gun mate. I’m happy with my renpho one too. I personally don’t post those kind of deals as I believe because the market is so flooded with options that are very similar it doesn’t really constitute as a bargain which is the purpose of this community :)

      • Good on you for taking that into consideration.

  • AU plug or not, please!

    • Waiting for confirmation from marketing contact

It’s Au plug for sure but I want to triple check it has earth pin and not just a two pin.

      • Am a little concerned because an Amazon review says it doesn't have the earth pin. Hoping for the best because I really want one 🙂

        • +1

I have written a very stern email to marketing to outlining that if it doesn’t have an earth unless they got an explanation of how it is safe, there is some serious concern. Again, I not an official in house rep or anything so sometimes getting straight answers is still very painful.

  • Does the unit show temperature in degrees C or F? The product image shows F…

    • Good point, let me confirm too - surprisingly the amazon listing does too…

  • Nice one. Bought one. Been looking for a foot bath and already own three Renpho products and can’t fault them. Hopefully this one doesn’t disappoint.

    • +1

In the off chance you are not satisfied with the product definitely raise your concerns with support who are generally responsive via emails.

  • Thanks Jimmy, I bought two

  • @OP any deals on the mini massage gun?

    • I have been asked to post some deals about the renpho massage guns many times before but tbh it goes against my own personal views of the purpose of ozbargains as for the price it wasn’t markedly better (IMHO) than any other random amazon/Ali gun.

Ozbargain as the name implies should be for bargains

      • I agree this is a bargain site, thus the question of whether you could create a deal (bargain) for the mini massage gun

        • I did try for many weeks of back and forth but negotiations were just going around in circles. Will let you know if I can work out something.
