For a low price is this decent USB WiFi adapter that features WiFi dual band 2.4GHz/5GHz AC600 and uses the Realtek RTL8811CU chipset. I own a couple of these as spares and in my testing they've worked really well compared to more expensive brand ones.

Some Realtek WiFi adapters aren't fully compatible with MacOS. If so these drivers on GitHub should work with this USB Adapter.

  I had 2 of these and both failed within a few weeks unfortunately. A budget PCIe wifi card is a safer bet.

      Search around for:

      Tplink 2.4ghz ~ $25 (up to 300mbs)
      Tplink 2.4-5ghz ~ $35 (up to 600mbs)

      Depending on the size of your PC make sure to check if you need a low bracket card or not. Some cards also include bluetooth should you have that requirement also (I did).

  I'm not saying these would, but my experience with every USB wifi dongle I've tried is that they overheat and drop connection.

  I found the identical one on Amazon for $11 and got them delivered already, saves waiting 2 months. At least if they fail I'll get my money back.

  I can confirm they're plug and play on Win11.
