On sale is another portable air pump/compressor and a cheaper alternative to the Xiaomi Portable Air Pump 1S. The biggest difference between this and the Xiaomi is that there's a Quick Charge USB port so you can use it as a power bank in an emergency. Obviously there's no USB-C as that's not the main purpose of this device.

Edit: US$27.36 here thanks to Peteroz.

It has a flow rate of 20L/pm (15L/pm in Xiaomi), up to 94PSI air pressure, dual display to show the current/target air pressure, can be set to PSI, BAR, KPA & kg/cm², 4 different preset modes, 4000mAh battery and a large built in flashlight in white and red. An extension air tube and various nozzles are included.

Like the Xiaomi this is designed for filling up tyres for cars, bikes, eScooters, EUCs, footballs and more. It's not a high volume inflator so it's not suitable for SUPs and air mattresses.

      • you got him. lol

Would love to see a comparison. Because specs wise it's better. Bigger battery and inflation rate. Then Xiaomi.

    • US$27.36 not bad.

    • Good find

  • How is this compared to the FLEXTAILGEAR from Amazon?

    • +1

It doesn't. They're for inflating things like SUPs and air mattresses.

      • you mean better, for the same price?

        • +1

They're completely different products designed for inflating different things. That can't do a tyre and this can't do a SUP.

  • Not sure how similar it is, but here's another very well-rated pump (Baseus). $39.60 inc shipping

  • Can someone confirm that this would inflate a Presta valve? They're the skinny stupid long difficult ones on fancy road bikes… I hate them, but they seem to be everywhere.

I can't quite work out if there's an adaptor for Presta valves in the picture, or if they're the car tyre Schrader valve that's on literally every other inflatable tube in the world.

    • Great question, I am also wondering if you can purchase different tips and if the tips are a standard size

    • +3

The connector on this is for the schrader valve. You could just get a schrader to presta adapter.

  • What is it that makes these unsuitable for SUPs and air mattresses?

Not designed for long runtime/get too hot?

    …Also what's a SUP?

    • +1

The airflow rate is too low and it uses different adapters. Typically one for inflating air mattresses and SUPs (stand up paddleboards) will be 150L/pm+ instead of the 15-30L/pm you get in these. Plus the inflators can't detect the current air pressure either like this do.

  • Are these accurate in terms of PSI?
