  The range on these is terrible. says 300ft but if I'm more than 10ft away, it won't read.

    The Bluetooth standard says 10m and that's only under ideal lab conditions.

    Not sure where it says 300 feet (90m), the item description says 164 feet (50m) which is still a blatant lie, so I wouldn't trust anything else about this product.

  Rep, I have an ITC-306T which has a probe that failed after 15 months of use. The warranty is 12 months.

  Is there anything to be done? I've seen replacement probes on eBay but they are more than half the price if the unit again. For something that's meant to be waterproof it wasn't a failure I would expect, the probe is in a greenhouse cabinet while the controller is outside the cabinet but indoors so very sheltered.

  I think I'd rather wait for an upgrade to connect to wifi home assistant, so I don't have to go to the pool to check the temperature.
