you would have to make a new poll if you want me to answer that.

I would agree with others that your poll needs work.

Some points, do you have a tap near to the frifge install location for the ice / water dispenser? Personally, I would not go for these models as they are harder to clean.

I would also suggest having a model that has each door open to its own enclosed compartment. I have a french door model (opening to the one fridge compartment) and its not the best for frequent openings - the alternative open would mean snacking foods can go in its own section and more cold sensitive items in another.

I think freezer space is never enough on these fridges, especially on the size you're limited to. You should get a chest freezer and put it somewhere else and just use the freezer side of the main fridge for stuff you use regularly. You can never have too much freezer space. Put loads of bread in it and it'll save you a few trips to the shop ez.

    • our stupid kitchen only has space for one unit, so our freezer is in the adjacent laundry. family of 5, and both units are full after shopping
      .

    • Yeah we've actually got an external freezer

    Haier to fill the landfills?

  • better off getting a traditional top mount fridge.
here is a one with decent reviews for $1249:

  • Another vote here for a traditional fridge. I find There’s a lot more usable space in a traditional fridge than the ones you’re looking at. If you need a larger freezer then get a dedicated freezer

The ones with the cold water and ice makers have more that can go wrong with them. If you can’t hook them up to your plumbing then there’s no point of getting one because you have to manually fill it and wait for everything to cool/freeze, the same you would if you have on a regular fridge.

Worse still you could be like my idiot uncle who hooked his up wrong and the piping developed a leak, in his roof. There’s a lot to this story that I question but the key words are idiot uncle

    • Thanks but got an external freezer. Should've mentioned that

  • LG with linear compressor, very quiet.

  • one thats not running in case you get phone calls about the whereabouts of fridge

  • The Westinghouse is made by Electolux. Why different sizes when you can get the identical fridge in either brand ?
Your all over the shop size wise from 471 to 635 and plumbed and non plumbed,
Suggest you whittle down a bit more OP.
I've had https://www.harveynorman.com.au/electrolux-609l-dark-stainle… for 5 years and is the only French door fridge i have owned. I would buy it again .

    • Thanks will give it a look

  • We bought this recently and it’s been great so far, no plumbing needed.

We also bought a chest freezer to leave in our outdoor kitchen as you lose a bit with the ice maker.

  • I'm on my 3rd Haier HRF520BHC in 2 years. the Electronic panel that controls the temperature stops working after a while. The technician showed me the cable gets cut when the door opens & closes over time. The cable is too tight. Double-check your Haier model.
