So for every post here we should write a message saying whether it is useful to us or not then? Yeah… they are the idiots and not you.

      • +29

Lol is it reasonable to go on every appliance post and be like, "already got a vacuum/washing machine etc etc but thank you"?

        • +25

LOL just checked the comments history, this is pure gold!

          • +26

@Steakz: This is Towels's bargain site, we're all just along for the ride

          • +2

            @Steakz: lol, that's pure cringe.

It looks like they may be trying to collect negs now after 2 years of attempting to be witty.

        • +8

          Gotta respect the consistency.

        • +8

already read previous comments but thank you anyway

      • +1

It's a bit of a redundant comment, especially considering he's ignored 8/9th's of the posts content too.

      • I don't follow the comments history of Towels so I don't know how he has been behaving, but everyone is allowed to say if any deal is useful or not individually if they want to. There is no rule against that.

        • +2

Sure. That same argument applies to down voting his irrelevant comment though. I had a quick scan of the rules and I couldn't find anything to suggest otherwise. I may be wrong though.

          • +1

@Orion au: You're right, there is no rule against that either.
Just thought a bit much for negging him for a post like that, he might as well said "Boo, such an old game with Morrowind, most people have already played it ages ago, crap deal" and still received all the negs anyway XD

    • +1

      thanks anyway.

      You're welcome

    • Already got towels, thanks anyway.

  • +4

    Patiently waiting for Daggerfall.

    • +21

Permanently free on Steam and GOG.

  • +2

Elder Scrolls III Morrowind, Tunche, and Space Crew are the highlights for me. The rest look below average.

  • +2

    Elders Scroll 3 Morrowmind

Don't you mean "Elden Skull Three Tomorrowfind"?

  • +2

    You n’wah!

  • +1

    This for Pee C?

  • -1

I would ask 6 days in advance! Could someone please send me a code for Elder Scrolls III Morrowind if they don't want it?

    • +1

Does it work if you don't link your account to Amazon Prime? It didn't work for me when they gave me a game on Epic store.

      • Depends on which platform it is. high likely it would be code from GOG

      • GOG isn't linked with Amazon, you have to redeem manually. EPIC and Ubisoft are linked and redeem automatically.

Oh damn, my Prime expires on the 30th and i don't plan on renewing.

    • +10

Prime Videos is worth the asking price and with Prime Delivery it's worth it compared to eBay, Kogan Plus etc..

      • +1

Yeah, Prime is worth it and i had it on a one year subscription but since i recently got a TV box i no longer need Prime video (and i used to cycle alternately between Disney+ and Netflix). If I do need to buy something on Amazon in the future i'll just subscribe to Prime for that month for the delivery and other freebies. Trying to cut down on all the subscriptions with rising interest rates.

        • +1

          Interesting.

Amazon arguably has the cheapest stuff, so it can save you more, especially with free shipping (and usually 2-day delivery).

I don't know if you're implying in your comment that you are still subscribed to Netflix and Disney+, but I would drop both of those before Prime if the main reason is to cut down on subscriptions due to rising interest rates.

Amazon Prime is annual sub of $59 vs $203.88 for Netflix standard plan (for 12 months) and $139.99 for Disney+ annual sub.

Amazon Prime even comes with a full music streaming service now (not just the limited streaming like before) so you can drop Spotify, YouTube Music, etc.

          • @brotherfranciz: @jonow83 I'm on the brink of cancelling Netflix and finding Prime content keeps getting better. Disney will stay for my son.

Had an idea though for your Prime spend… Optus Sub Hub is giving away 6-months prime. I don't have an Optus post-pay service but wonder if it is a code or claim link that could be shared or sold on forums?

Divine Knockout has been free everywhere, Freemium game posing as a free giveaway.

    • yeah agreed, i doubt anyone who plays that ever paid RRP

  • -2

Morrowind is so old :/ why not skyrim or something :/
Thanks for posting the deal though

    • +8

Because there's a new version of Skyrim for toasters coming out.

      • +1

I’m waiting for the Belt Buckle edition, so I can walk around playing Skyrim while staring at my navel.

    • +1

20 years old, but still a good experience. Also, levitation

  • +5

I want more of the old stuff like the monkey islands type

  • I knew I should have waited to buy Morrowind, still only 30-40 hours through Oblivion from when that was free on Prime

  • +3

divine knockout claiming it costs money is basically just a meme at this point

  • +3

Still got my original Morrowind GotY CD's, but guess this will work as a backup!

    • This version is likely to have been redone to run on modern hardware whereas the original CDs might need to be run in compatibility mod or not run at all.

  • +5

I wish there was an official remaster of Morrowind. The game has a great atmosphere but the engine is a bit janky and doesn't scale well to modern system like Oblivion and later RPGs do (it struggles with mods that increase the number of actors, meshes and mesh complexity).

I recommend, at the very least, an AI upscaled textures mod, one of the following: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46221 or https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47469?tab=descripti…

    • +2

I think there's a popular mod which is actually just a full remake of the underlying engine while still using the same assets, allowing far greater view distance, performance, etc, which is still compatible with previous mods.

Nvidia showed off an awesome tech demo of generating new higher quality assets for Morrowind in game using AI tools, not sure if that's available yet though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taJ7tJVFIPA

      • +1

There is the WIP OpenMW, but unfortunately it isn't compatible with the script extender required by many mods, MWSE. Technically the extended scripting support could be build into the OpenMW executable. There is a Reddit discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenMW/comments/axlhwb/is_openmw_co…

For more technical details, there is: https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php/MWSE

        • +1

Ah that's unfortunate. Though truth be told the main 'mod' I'd want is one which modernizes the base game, rather than all the smaller mods which are incompatible with it and I'd likely be picking to do the same thing. There probably are some cool overhaul mods, though I tend to like to stick to vanilla just cleaner.

  • Space Warlord organ Trading Simulator

    Isn't this just Rimworld?

  • +9

could not find The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind GOTY Edition. Any chance of a direct link?

    • +17

The Prime Gaming Blog states "Prime Gaming is offering nine free titles starting February 2" and these are U.S. dates so I think you'll find Elder Scrolls III and Onsen Master coming up tomorrow (3rd) in Australia. Others will appear weekly for the remainder of February.

      • +2

Could be late this afternoon too

        • +1

yeah, can't see any new games for me as well

  • +7

    Still waiting.

  • Weekly games that I'll never play. Sign me up!

  • If anyone doesn't want their morrowind code I'll use it!

  • +2

I hope moving forward that this new addition of games during random days each month isn't going to be a thing.

Them releasing games all at once is less painful.

    • +2

Looks like they might be making it drip-fed weekly. the "free games" section (i forget the exact name) is now titled "weekly games"

    • I assumed that the weekly drop was only due to Black History Month and that it would revert to normal next month. Yeah, I know the old saying… when you assume you make an ass of u and me.

  • Hopefully We get to see a remake of some kind for Morrowind at some point (Best in the series imo), or at least some rtx magic:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUX3u1iD0jM

  • No new games. 11:32 PM Sydney time.

  • +3

    Onsen Master appeared @ 3am

  • +4

The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind GOTY Edition now available

  • Thanks OP

  • +2

Thanks, is there a way to set reminders for all of them?

    • Not on one deal. If your brain works like mine you could set reminders on other deals, I guess even older prime gaming deals, one for each week. With stuff like this, I tend to just set the first reminder, then when I get the item each week/day I set up the next one.

  • Anyone have an unwanted GOG code for Morrowind? I'd love to give it a good home (PM please).

    • +1

Someone has given me a code. Thanks!

  • If anyone has an unused code, I would appreciate one. Thanks!

  • PM for morrowind code first come first serve, will respond tomorrow

    • Code has been given away.

  • +2

I have to admit right now that Towelie was right, I'm staring at my Prime and there's only 2 games on offer, both are unappealing, one of which is a 20 year old game. I love Prime and Prime Gaming but this is undoubtedly the weakest haul so far.

    • If you're not going to redeem your GOG code for Morrowind, can I please have it?

  • +1

For anyone looking for The Elder Scrolls 3 GOG code: QLZ648A0A511085FFB.

    • Thanks, redeemed.

  • Does anyone have an unwanted GOG code for Morrowind? (Please let me know via PM. Thank you!)

    • Just received one from a generous user. Thanks!
