I have this monitor. It is the best purchase I have made for my setup. Finally something that keeps up with a decent graphics card. As it is 2k, It'll play things on ultra at 100fps min on my 3080.

Check Reddit. Most people are on $200k salary and have no idea where to spend it.

    • People work and can spend how they like I guess

        that was not the question

can't remember if its 14 or 30 days, but if you call JB or go in they will credit you back the difference of the price drop.

    • What's stopping people from the firmware upgrade?

      • Users are not able to update the FW on this particular monitor

  • Hmm staff prices on this are nice is it worth it for a 2080ti set up tho…

    • Yes bigtime, RTX 2080 Ti is still a spankin GPU - can game at 1440p ultrawide very nicely indeed.

Multiple people in /r/monitors are showing burn in after less than a year of use. Personally not a gamble I'm willing to take for a 1700 dollar purchase

    • +1

It has 3 yr warranty. This includes burn in.

      • +2

Dell only replaces it with refurbished monitors that are already broken

    • -2

lol, why do muppets like this comment, its 3 year burn in warranty , if you follow instructions and let it pixel refresh every day it will be fine.

Why is this model consistently getting deals for a lot cheaper than the nearly identical DWF model, which should nominally be $200 cheaper?
I just don't want the stormtrooper colour scheme #greylife

    • +2

dwf is new and to be honest they dont have to discount much, there is no competition at this price. the samsung one coming up and LG are not any better and while LG is cheaper a little its only 27 inch
Samsung will be a lot more expansive
you can get DWF for $1500 maybe if you talk to dell support and tell them this deal is $1600 and you want the DWF cheaper

      • Tried, Dell Sales Chat said $1,599 for DWF

  • +1

Might just bite this deal…price isn't too bad, and I have some JB vouchers which will bring it to sub-1500…

  • +2

The dwf standard price in the US has been reduced to $1099 and is currently on sale for $999. I am waiting for the price reduction here before buying.

    • At work, can not watch it.. can you give me a summary? :)
