I can't see how to apply for CommBank World Debit?
Targeted.
Randomly targeted? My parents have the platinum debit card and I have the regular debit card but there isn't much difference between our accounts as we all only have a transaction account with them with around the same amount of money in it.
@Nillionaire: It's invite only, and I haven't heard of anyone getting an invite in years. It's possible they based it on the value of a customer (eg. loans, income etc.) but something's changed recently? But if you're lucky enough to get it, it is a platinum debit card option.
Invite only.
My parents have CommBank World Debit and received their invite years ago. I think they met the invite criteria due to their account tenure (>40 years), mortgage and investment account.
10 bucks per month fee.
thanks
Have looked a NAB. Impressed $10 monthly fee with insurance which is reimbursed if $100 contactless payments are made each month.
But any lounge accesses (or am i asking too much)
Couldnt find any info on Maquarie Debit and guessing Commbank isnt available to the public outside of invites
What’s impressive here? The $10 fee or the reimbursement?
providing something (insurance) for $10 a month fees but also pretty much reimbursing $100 contactless spend which is done easily by a lot of people
Still wanting lounge access but that might be a dream
reimbursed if $100
is it correct ? it says
Cash back on contactless purchases 1 %, Earn up to $10 cash back per month on your contactless purchases.
so, need to spend $1000 per month to get $10 cashback, isn't it ?
edit:

Cash Back Eligibility
To be eligible spend for cash back, contactless purchases must be made in AUD and processed and debited to your account by the last banking day of the month. Eligible spend is capped at $1,000 per month.
lol brain fart moment
yea not that great but still ok i guess if i need travel insurance
To add to this, I know the new Westpac Group travel card has a feature where you can claim 2 lounge passes if you're delayed - however, this is a prepaid card.
NAB Platinum Debit, Macquarie Debit and CommBank World Debit are the only cards I know of to include actual platinum benefits other than points (Virgin Money) or no international fees (Bankwest)
