Looking for Recommendation to Replace Surface Pro 5 Battery

Hi all,

My Surface Pro 5 battery seems to no longer hold charge. Is there a recommended place in Inner West Sydney (near Burwood/Strathfield area) that offer to replace the battery and without a term saying they are not liable to damage to LCD touch screen, since the idea of getting someone to do it is not to inherit this risk to do it myself?

    those screens are flimsy as $%^, you can break them no matter how careful you are. good luck finding a business willing to take on a $500 risk over a $100 sale. (numbers are estimates, but my point remains). i mean that nicely, you may find a place.

    edit: the benefit of getting a business to do it is they are more experienced than you, hence the risk will be much lower than if you did it yourself - but not zero. you'll likely have to accept that.

    can you order the battery and use a youtube video guide to DIY? if no one else will do it.

      That probably be a last resort. I had seen the videos and it is very fiddly to get to the base where the battery is.
