    looks like a………..nevermind.

$65 isn't really a bargain for these anymore. You can find them for around this price all the time with more speeds on Amazon.

    30 Speed - $55.24 delivered.

You might want to rethink that……

    • You'll be made redundant.

  • +4

well if you never try the $300 ones then you will think you get a bargain and a good quality at this price $65….

anyone who own this kind of cheapo gun (ie under $200) please go to harveynorman, binglee, etc to try theragun. no point to explain in word, you wont believe it anyway…

    • +1

Maybe… but also maybe there are people who would like to try one and do not have $300 to fork out for one of these? I would assume to most people on OzBargains, $300 is a lot of cash.

Most of these have good/identical mechanicals - the point of difference is how good the lithium battery is and how long it will last - my son bought an el cheapo and once the battery went that was it - i ripped it apart/removed battery and bypassed it so the DC current went straight through so can use it with a powerpoint

as the lithium battery is an expensive component, that's where the cheaper models cut corners…

how good the lithium battery is and how long it will last

If it had a long-lasting battery type, they would tell you, it would sell more units. As they don't say anything, probably standard cheap li-ion, with significant degradation by the 3-5 year mark.

the DC current went straight through so can use it with a powerpoint

I hope you mean "power supply", unless you've had your house wired for 12V and have those weird-looking DC sockets.

  • The Kmart one is dogshit. The massage ends are hard crappy plastic.

Try one in store before you put your money on one

Got this a few weeks back. Not worth any more than 20 bucks. The cheap plastic feels like you are jack hammering your body with a coke bottle. In fact, there's a $3.90 solution that'll work better

    • In fact, there's a $3.90 solution that'll work better

Please expand on this solution… I am rather fond of cheap solutions.

A 600ml coke bottle. Just hold it and punch it against your neck. In all seriousness, neither options are great.

    • Sounds like it is more marketed towards females.

  • Wife says this is so much better than her old Hitachi to release her… stress

    • safe to say you're not helping out much in that department?

      • As with everything else, outsourced to the Asian market.
