Rug Doctor Deep Carpet Cleaner VS Bissell Pro Heat 2X (2066f)

Does anyone have any experience with either machine? Looking at reviews online seem to point to the Bissell being a little fragile, while there isn’t a great deal of reviews about the Rug Doctor.

The Rug Doctor seems to be well built, and only $100/200 more expensive when the Bissell goes on special. Planning on doing carpets every couple of months.

  • Planning on doing carpets every couple of months.

    Why is that?

Newborn and with another little one running around, the carpets get grubby fairly quickly. Vacuuming everyday only goes so far.

      • One daughter 3 children. House spotless. Toilets cleaned every morning. Disinfect everything. Children always have something. Other daughter has cats, their house is a house not a home. Now 3 year old has plays with the cats, plays in mud and whatever since he could sit up, goes to childcare, is into everything and rarely gets sick. That's the way children build resistance.

To many people using sprays that kill '99.9% of germs.'

How does a parent with 3 kids even have time to clean toilets every day?!

        • Other daughter has cats, their house is a house not a home.

Sounds like you have it the wrong way round. Sounds like one daughter has a housing facility while the other has cats and a home.

There are 3 toilets in the house. Husband does it at 0530.

Or he gets the hose again 😂

  • I have the Hoover smart wash from Godfreys. I think it’s pretty good, seems robust enough and does a good job.
