Love N Care Rush Stroller (Mocha Colour) $199 + Postage

60

Price reduced from $599.00 down to $199.00
Closest price I found on shopbot was $450.

I did a test shipping quote and it was $21.95 to brisbane, I don't think that's outrageous for such a bulky item weighing 12kg.

The Nero model also has an identical discount/price

  • Price reduced

It's been the same price since at least the start of June…

So this looks like their normal price, not a bargain…

  • +1

Gummibear - For a value model I can't recommend enough the Steelcraft Agile stroller.

$339 at that same online store or $349 in many actual stores, so a bit more exxy than the Rush, but go to a store and ask someone to show you how it works and I believe you'll love it. Simple, easy to use, light, and strong.

More importantly, always go around and test/see the strollers yourself. It may look good online but theres so many little things which make a huge difference.

    • Ibfragalot -
I just posted that in case someone is looking for that model. I wouldn't feel comfortable as you suggested to buy a stroller without giving it a feel.

thanks for the recommendation on the agility
I actually saw an agility this morning and the store lady mention it recently won a choice award. I quite liked the weight and simplicity to fold also.
At the moment I am looking for something that is light, and allows front facing and back facing. And would happily order from overseas if it's worthwhile.
I am thinking of a choice magazine subscription to help me find such a stroller. I have lots of time until dec though

      Thanks

My wife and I have researched the heck out of these. She is quite small, so lightweight was very important to us. We also wanted front/back facing but in the end sacrificed that for other things.

Here's two more recommendations, I hope they prove helpful :)

If your looking for front/back facing, fully featured and light then the "best" is one called the Combi Urban Walker Prestige. We almost bought this, but like many decided against it as due to its extreme light weight (6.3kg) it just feels a little wobbly. That said, this is a proper high quality stroller, Japanese in origin. Definitely take a look. Its around $400-450.

4.6/5 Rating at Product review: http://www.productreview.com.au/p/combi-urban-walker-prestig…

Alternatively, there is a Steelcraft model that is quite cheap, well built and does front/back facing. It is 9kg, so heavier, but not proper heavy like many other popular models.

        3.3/5 at Product review: http://www.productreview.com.au/p/steelcraft-acclaim.html

And of course the Agile, which we settled for, 4.5/5 at Product Review. http://www.productreview.com.au/p/steelcraft-agile.html

I also considered ordering overseas, but found the weight/postage costs usually made the deal no better.

One warning though - careful ordering from a place like My Baby Warehouse. Any website that does'nt show stock is one which likely orders from a supplier only when a product is purchased, which means it will take months for you to get it.

        Anyways, goodluck! (•‿•)

        • The best one would be Combi Miracle Turn DX followed by Urban Walker Prestige.

6.35kg v 6.6kg (still heavy but light for Aus)
          Double fold v single fold
Front wheel steer when reversed on MTDX
          Better cushioning on MTDX
Basket is much better on UWP
          UWP comes with leg muff
          Both self standing

        • +1 yep the miracle turn is a bit better, we just discounted that one for a few reasons. The best part of it is the wheel lock though yeah.

        • Would recommend the Combi Miracle Turn if you want light pram as we have one. The only cons are that it is not good for tall people as your feet can hit the wheels when walking. In backward facing mode is is harder to turn than in forward facing. Finally, the wheels are small so only really suited for flat easy surfaces like shopping centres and not really for footpath and parks as I find even to get up on a driveway you have to lift the front up.

    • You can also buy agile's cheaper cousin from target when it's on sale for $199 - essentially the same pram minus a front wheel.

  • Nice find Op…whether people like or dislike this stroller,
if someone was after this particular one, then it's a bargain….
but it's nothing on my Maclaren

  • This price looks good as I didn't realise it can be a tandem. Although the toddler seat is sold separately. Wonder how much that is.
