    I've managed to get free plan but it only allows me to export one altered photo per day.
    Is this what you have OP?

        I downloaded the app and under "manage subscription" it shows "free plan"
        It doesn't say free trial but I will see in three days if payment is required.
        But I can only do one picture per day, so not sure how useful it really is.

        No, just close the subscription pop up and start using, it pops you on a free plan

    This app has a free version you can use forever, but it only supports a single save per day.

    You can try the subscribed version for free for three days, which is presented confusingly and makes it look like there’s no free option.

    However the free forever option is so limited it’s effectively useless. Listing here as “free” is deceptive.
