The Segway G30 electric scooters don't go on sale much anymore so this is a good price if you're after a really good general use electric scooter. While not quite as cheap as the Amazon deal in November I think it's still good value. The coupon codes are supposed to be for refurbs only, however these are new from Ninja Buy (PC Byte).

    Man I hate their naming conventions. Research indicates that this G30L is the G30LP in other markers? This one is essentially a smaller, less range and no internal charger version of the standard G30 Max?

      That's correct, if you need the larger 60km range, find the Segway Max G30P. After that, see if you can confirm whether the model is a Gen 1 or Gen 2 motor (Gen 2 has more consistent top speed even when the battery is low).
      Bikescootercity sells the Gen 2 for $1099.

      Yeah it's pretty annoying! I have this one, no internal charger is an advantage IMO, why carry that weight in the deck when you can leave the brick at home. Range has never been a problem for me but my commute is only 4km.
