Battlefield 3 has a fun campaign. The multiplayer is basically dead.

Titanfall 2 has a great campaign although short. The multiplayer is basically dead.

Starwars Battlefront multiplayer is dead in Australia, you can use the Japanese servers ta about 160ms ping.

    • Is it the same for the first Battlefront? I've only played 2 (sometimes on usa/jp servers) but the first one looked interesting to try.

      • I've only played Star Wars Battlefront 2 as well. The campaign is fun. I wish the multiplayer was still active in Aus, I prefer it to the battlefields.

    • Thanks. My life can’t afford multiplayer action.

Uggghhh more games added to my Steam Collection that I'll never play…. thanks… I guess… :)

Didn't realise there was a sale atm for New Years.

    • Why buy them when they are not free like those from Epic Games?

      • +4

I've bought the odd game off Epic, but overwhelmingly the freebies on Epic I'll never play for sure.

        I also prefer Steam.

Having all 3 consoles and a gaming PC, it's often more about the hoarding/collection than actually playing. I'm trying to be more ruthless on the 3 consoles though compared to previous generations.

      • +3

So we can play them on Steam Deck easily :)

        • +3

I tell myself that too…. without any desire to get the first model atleast…

If I get now… I have them for later :P

But PC Games for a few bucks here and here… hard to pass up.

Especially when I stopped (wasting) money on EB exclusive collectors editions and the like in the past. Especially cringed when I heard about the $600 RE4 one today that sold out in minutes.

          • @scuderiarmani: Cause they only had like 10 copies

          • -1

@scuderiarmani: Doesn't matter if these PC games are only a few bucks, if you know you're not going to play them, why waste money at all?

            • @edfoo: What's it to you?

I don't get your original point anyway. These games aren't on Epic.

If I want then, I'll buy them.

              • @scuderiarmani: The point is why buy games when you know you won't play them.

            • +1

@edfoo: A lot of us enjoy collecting games more than playing them, just having the freedom of being able to play whatever the f we want is pure satisfaction.

              • +1

@blueastro: Why do Stamp Collectors collect Stamps if they won't mail them?

Why do coin collectors collect coins if they won't spend them?

Why do Lego buyers buy Lego sets and never open them?

                /s

Collecting games is my thing. I know I'll never play most, that's fine.

                • +1

@scuderiarmani: Same, I love collecting them but I am usually too exhausted to invest my time into new games

              • -2

@blueastro: scuderiarmani already said he won't be playing them, so why pay money to buy games just for collecting "digital copies" of games? Does not fit the mindset of OzBargain.

                • +1

@edfoo: Why are you going on and on? Seriously. I'm over it.

Totally not a deal but I want.. no need more people to race against. NEED FOR SPEED UNBOUND is at it's lowest price since launch a month or so ago - $49.97.

Not game enough to make a post about it, so here it is.

Thanks mate got Jedi fallen order to break in the new steam deck :D

    • I've added Steam Deck Compatibility ratings to the table. For Jedi: Fallen Order, the current rating is 'Unsupported'

      • Well I guess it was lucky my steam app on iOS was refusing to load PayPal then lol

        • +1

Its "Unsupported", but totally works, I have played it bit and works well for the most part stays at 40fps too. You just need to change it to run with I think it was Proton Experimental.

        • Your timing and choice is good - Valve Software has just very recently changed the Steam Deck Compatibility rating for Jedi: Fallen Order from 'Unsupported' to 'Playable'

I have updated the deal post table to reflect this.

grabbed titanfall 2 just because its such an epic game

    • +1

      ok i'll get it too

  • I feel like most of these games have been free at some stage

    • I don't think any of them have been free on PC.

      • +1

If I had to guess, maybe Prime gave some away. They've given the odd really good one over the years.

Regardless, not on Steam if their EA titles, would have been for the EA launcher if so.

  • Star wars campaign any good?

    • Yes, very much so.

  • +1

Thanks OP, was going to pick up Lost in Random, but it's showing as full price for me

    • It's on sale direct through EA, but not on Steam 😢

    • Lost in Random promotion price seems to have been removed, it has reverted to full price on Steam. I have amended the table to reflect this.

Also, It Takes Two for $18.48.
The best price was $14.98 in August of last year
