No matter what i do it doesn't work

    • Try from desktop or switch to desktop site from browser.

      • C'mon guys that reply was hilarious lol

    • I can't get it to work either.

      • -3

You should form a support group.

        • +8

WTF is with the smart arsed comments. The deal isn't working for me or dosada, we both communicate this in case other people are having trouble too, and then people like you make inane comments. Where is your sense of community?

Were you able to get the deal? If so, were there any extra steps you took? Because for me, there is no 'get' option when I look for the coupon. Maybe the deal is expired; I guess I'll have to go ask the support group.

          • -5

@mskram: Hey I might make inane comments and I might be arsed but how dare you call me smart

It's a deal for a banggood RC car. Lighten up, sugarplum

          • +2

@mskram: Your comment made me laugh. Just that I wasn't serious, was trying to make a joke in line with King Steuar's one.

In any case, I can't see the "get" button either and comes up to $100USD.

  • I got it to work can apply the coupon at checkout

      Thanks for your life story

  • +1

Thanks OP. bought 2 for $120.97 delivered to Perth

  • Banger of a deal. Thanks

  • I have this for my kid, pretty good, bloody fast but has broken a couple of times and I've had to DIY repair.

    • How's the battery life? What broke and was it easy to fix?

      • The battery on mine lasted 2 weeks. Bought a proper one from hobbiesdirect. Don't run them on sand either, these are not dust proof and it will clog up the suspension and gears.

      • Found the battery to be pretty good actually. A screw fell out and part of the axel snapped, I got the part off eBay for about $7

  • -1

bought one of these a while ago. Not great for non-adults/beginners. My son drove it over a jump that was probably too big (approx 30cm high) and broke an axel. The screws are spot welded in so you can't remove/replace the part and you're basically screwed. Quite a few parts of plastic and i dont have a lot of faith in the product.
I was quite annoyed that all the joints were spot welded seeing as they also sold upgrade/replacement parts. Support from bangood was average who wouldnt really help out, but i can understand as it would be expensive to return and they didnt want to replace.

    • Thanks for this. Won't bother ordering. I'm thinking one prang and my options are buy another unit for stripping, or just bin the lot.

I think I'll get something a bit more robust when the time comes.

      • not sure if its for you, or for the kids, but i ended up buying my son a Tamiya Grasshopper. Yes, cost more. But we got to build it together and every part is interchagable and easy to replace. He's been using it for a few months and no issues. My recommendation if you're going the 'buying for your child' route.

    • Nonsense, you must have a copy orva dud. Mine is virtually indestructible I've dropped it from 1m and run it off a ramp about 100 times.

      • fair. but i bought it from here, looks the same as all the videos I watched when looking up replacment tutorials etc. If you're is good, awesome. My personal recommendatin is to avoid. I wish I used the money and get something better at the time.

    • They are usually glued, not welded. I have had decent success applying heat (heatgun or solderin iron) before attempting to unscrew.

      • really wish i had the energy to go and find the youtube video which shows the same issue, but 100% the screws has a tiny weld so i couldnt unscrew the driveshaft attachment. There are videos out there demonstating the problem, was a nightmare. If yours is different, sweet. But i guess that means it's a crap shoot when ordering.

Can't see the 'get' under coupon deals on the OP link. the car is there, but no red coupon under it like the other listings

  • +2

Get option is not available for me either…

  • +2

All for more RC cars being posted after that last one which was apparently great.

  • For those having issues, try the link in the post. Not the "go to" link. Worked for me on mobile.

Found the code in the page source. It still works.

    • Cheers . worked like a charm

    • This works. Just tested it.

    • You're a wiz! Great find.

    • Any chance of finding another code? 🤠

      • +1

I just got luck as they had only hidden the field, not changed the value. Anything else on that clearance page that has a hidden code?

        • Thanks 👍 Happy driving 🏎️

  • I must be blind but i can't see that "Get" button…

    • +2

You don't need to hunt down the get coupon button. Just enter BG0abf97 as coupon code when checking out.

      • yep, just placed my order! cheers

  • +4

damn, just bought it - god knows how I will convince my wife that our 2 year old need it.

    • Don't. Just tell her that YOU will get some happiness from it!

    • +3

Your 2 year old doesn't, your 4 year old does. With the normal price being > $100 + inflation you'd be paying $159+ in 2 years. You just saved $100+.

May be best not to mention that it will break in a week if you're careful with it (while testing to ensure it is a suitable piece of educational equipment for your 4 year old). Of course if you fix it with your 2 year old, they'll be one step closer to being able to fix their own car as an adult which will save them thousands and will save them getting murdered on the side of the road while waiting for someone else to come and fix it. So you'll have saved $100+, saved your child thousands of dollars and saved your child's life. Talk about a bargain.

      • Haha sure, I will put this to her and see if I can still sleep in the bedroom tonight 😆😆

  • BG0abf97

    Works thanks :)

  • soooo, now I need spare batteries, gents!

  • No good for me 😭

These used to be $15 at kmart, got a couple of them in 2018 and they're still going. A larger one used to be $30

  • Coupons all used up.

    Not meant to be.

This coupon can only be used 50 times.

I have had this for a year and a bit now. Paid $80 back then on sale so this is a great deal. I usually do the driving and the little one watches and loves it. If you’re game to give the little one a go, you can throttle the speed to however slow you like which should avoid any damage to the car.. with the throttle all the way up it’s surprisingly quick!

With the battery it comes with you’ll get maybe 5-7 minutes out of it, depending on how high the throttle is set. I’d recommend buying the battery from the link below to get a good 20 mins out of it.

Definitely recommend, you can not go wrong at this price.

  • Great deal op. Thanks dude

Damn. Would have been keen on this. Next time!

  • Doesn't seem code will work again.

  • Mine got delivered today. Not bad!

    • Got mine too and holy cow this is bigger and faster than I expected. Will definitely need a spare battery though

  • The default charger is pretty poor quality and I can't even tell whether the battery is charged or not. Can someone recommend a better charger? I have seen some B3 Pro chargers which looks good.

  • Ordered 20/1,Turned up today 27/1 to Brisbane. Not bad.
Haven't tried it out yet. Looking to take it out for a spin over the weekend.

  • Mine still hasn't arrived. Parcel is with Aramex and probably been lost which is annoying as it was for a gift. I did pay for insurance but that doesn't help for my nephew's present

    • +1

      with Aramex

      That is the problem.
