Philips Water All-In-One Water Station $359.99 Delivered @ Costco Online (Membership Required)

130

This is a tabletop Water filter/cooler/heater. Can do a range of temps and dispense fixed quantities.

I find the cooler makes a bit of noise, but you can turn the cooler off in winter to save on power and background noise. The buttons are a bit fiddly, but I still like having the option for hot/cool water without running a kettle or keeping a bottle/jug in the fridge.

Amazon price $399, this price ($359 delivered) includes a bundle of 7 filters, delivered. Product can also use Brita Maxtra filters.

  • How much do the filters cost? And how often u have to change?

  • +2

Mine stopped working after 3 months and I got it returned to Costco.
The good thing is that they did not ask me to return the filters so I got 7 free filters as a result.
The device is good when it is working.

So you have filters but no machine? lol

      • +1

It is interchangeable with Brita product. Saved me $60 for brita filters. So it is good.
BTW, you don't have to use the filters if you fill the machine with filtered water. Just remove the inner layer, the machine won't complain

    • Ah that's unfortunate. We got one last time Costco had them on special about a year ago and its been all good since. Note that when the descale light comes on it needs to run a descale cycle before it will dispense hot water again. I usually use it for cold only, and haven't given it a descale for a while.

      • I did the descale cycle as per the instruction. The issue was that it stopped heating. I could still use it for cold.

    • Mine started tripping the mains about 9 months in so I also returned it back to Costco and kept the filters. It was good when it worked so I might get this again and hope that I just had a dud.

  • I was wishing to buy this sometime ago but saw some of reviews about leaking issue

Was about to say you might as well get a Zip tap install at that price. Then saw the price of Zip taps. Wow…

So doesn't seem to be too bad a deal if you have the space and the need for one.

the zip tap in our office is broken most the time.

  • Is it available in store and perhaps cheaper?

    • Good point and often things are cheaper in store than online - but didn't see when I checked (Perth Airport branch)

  • Has anyone measured the "100C" output of this? How close is it to actually 100C, once dispensed?

(I did a quick search, but couldn't find anyone who has measured it. Someone suggested on a previous deal that usually these kinds of machines only output 93C, but no specific comment on this machine.)

    • Keen to know this as well please, especially since its for baby formula =/

      • Are you sure you need 100C for baby formula??

        • We boiled water, put it in a bowl with a refrigerated formula bottle for a minute or two, can't recall when reheating it.

          Likewise making it. Boiled water.

        • has to be pre-boiled to make sure you kill the bacteria then mix / cool it down

      • For baby formula better to use the hot water dispenser, I have the tiger one at home and works well

It will first boils to 100c then cool down and keep at 70c
