    no receipt

    no. im fairly sure they couldnt even process a return even if you jumped up and down.

    i would probably recommend just re-gfifting to someone else.

    Dan Murphy’s happily gives you a refund or an exchange if you have changed your mind on a purchase, provided that the product is:

    returned within 90 days after it has been purchased;
    within its use by or best before date;
    still in its original packaging (eg. when the product was sold in a carton, the carton must be unopened); and
    not opened or damaged, and in a re-saleable condition.
    Drinks that have been chilled then allowed to return to room temperature are often compromised in quality and not re-saleable. When purchasing for an event, please take this into consideration.

    Please also bring your proof of purchase (for instance your original receipt, tax invoice or a credit card statement clearly showing your purchase at Dan Murphy’s) with you when returning a product under the change of mind policy. Please note that the delivery fee incurred will not be refunded if a purchase is returned as part of the change of mind policy.

  • Sell it on OzBargain classified for less. Someone may take you up on it.

  • Just drink it anyway, unless it's XXXX gold.

    • If it is you neck them.

    • Xxxx gold at 20 to 8 in the morning

    • unless it's XXXX gold.

      But who would gift such a thing?

      • Gift for someone you hate.

  • Re-gift it.

    Do you still have the packaging the drink came in as it may have an order number or some other number on it that they can use to lookup the purchase? If not then you are S.O.L.

  • Give Dan Murphy's a call to explain the situation. Who knows, they might be able to find the gift giver's receipt (I have no idea if that's a thing but I would call to find out). I used to call them every so often for price matching and I've always found their customer service people very helpful.
