New android will have magsafe and apple iphones have magsafe. This product shouldn't exist.

By your logic, everyone should immediately dispose of their old devices as soon as new versions are announced.

      • Oh man did he say that ?

No. Wireless charging shouldn't be used on the go like this product unless you have magsafe. All your old products will be charged by cable, which will beat this stupid wireless charging. 🤔 don't know how you came to this comprehension with your mental gymnastics.

All im saying is to wait for magsafe power bank versions or stick a magsafe sticker to the back of your plastic case to prevent your phone from falling off.

Wireless charging shouldn't be used on the go like this product unless you have magsafe.

          Why?

All your old products will be charged by cable, which will beat this stupid wireless charging.

Beat in what sense? Wireless is always slower (with today's tech) than wired, whether magsafe or not.

All im saying is to wait for magsafe power bank versions…

          My iPhone isn't MagSafe compatible

…or stick a magsafe sticker to the back of your plastic case

I don't want to ruin the aesthetic of my phone case

To summarise: simply because a product doesn't fit your specific needs does NOT mean it shouldn't be available to anyone else on earth.

@andresampras: Why should wireless be used on the go? Then ask yourself why magsafe exist in the first place. Hint knock off the table with the wireless charger. Where your phone? Definitely not charging.

Then google why there is not much wireless charging for bike on the market. Your phone will fall off with all the bump and wobbling around.

Wired charging is faster than wireless charging in efficiency.

Im laughing at you who think sunction cups are strong to stick for as long like magsafe.

I'm guessing you haven't experienced your L or P plate on sunction cup falling off your car windows many time. Or experienced your sunction cup breaking off due to wear and time.

@ChickenAdobo: I honestly couldn't make head or tail of your latest comment.

We're not on the same page clearly, and it's not that important a topic so I'm going to let this rest.

Why shouldnt it be used on the go?
I wouldnt, but curious why you think so.

          • @beeze: I have two of those from few months back when they were on special. Wireless charging is and has always been slow but the suction is good enough to keep my phone nice and secure while charging. I do use the cable most of the time when using the power bank as I would be using the phone and having it stuck on the power back makes the whole experience terrible. Great if you just sit it on the side but if that is the case, you can just use the cable and sit it on the side?

All wireless power banks are useless magsafe or not unless Apple comes out with a new iphone with no ports which they might considering they are being forced to use Type C from 2024/25.

            • @itsmoe: or maybe one day we'll come full circle and manufacturers will have replaceable battery packs ;)

              • @andresampras: I never found replaceable batteries that useful to be honest. I've had many phones with removable back and I have never found myself replacing the battery.
