Hey Oz Bargain Community,

We got absolutely Oz Bargained with 171 up votes on our last sale about a month ago, it was a very special milestone for us. Thank you truly for your continued engagement be it an order, up vote, comment or message! We're refreshed and ready for the year ahead. We've got some really exciting things in the works, so hopefully this year will be filled with more positive milestones. Anyway I'll keep my rambling short and sweet…as we ended 2022 on such a high note with a deal we thought the best way to kick off 2023 was with a new fresh deal, so here we go :)

We're offering you a 40% discount off our much loved Brazil São Paulo Single Origin and our Swiss Water Process Decaf Coffee:

1) Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, only $14.99 per 500g (usually $24.99 per 500g), and $26.39 per 1kg (usually $43.98 per 1kg)

2) Swiss Water Process Decaf, only $16.19 per 500g (usually $26.99 per 500g), and $28.79 per 1kg (usually $47.98 per 1kg)

Deal valid for orders placed until 26/01/2023, unless sold out before. You can pick from the available green circle dispatch dates on the cart page. Dispatch can happen for you as near as tomorrow (Friday) and as far as the last Thursday in March. Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • One dispatch per order
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packing (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be written in the designated space on the cart page."
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag.
  • VIC|NSW|QLD|TAS|NT Flat Rate Shipping $6.99 No Delivery Company Preference, $7.99 Shipit-Courier's Please, $8.99 Australia Post, $12.99 Express Post, Live Quote Shipping at the checkout for Same Day Delivery as Dispatch in VIC in the highlighted map areas https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/361387/95314/same_day_…
  • SA|WA Flat Rate Shipping $9.99 Express Post. Regular parcels travel to SA & WA via train. The recent floods have damaged the rail line to SA & WA and a freight train has derailed, as such we've been informed by Australia Post that standard delivery to SA & WA is currently not an option for the foreseeable future. Express Post travels by plane, so it's still a viable option. We understand some of our SA & WA customers would prefer our "$6.99 No Delivery Company Preference" standard shipping option. Our Express Post option is usually $12.99. As Express shipping has been forced on us and you as the only viable option to SA & WA for the moment, to make the best of this situation we've decided to split the price difference and offer our SA & WA customers flat-rate Express shipping for only $9.99

Just wanted to chime in and say I love the Brazil São Paulo Single Origin and my gf the Swiss Water Process Decaf Coffee - Tom at Lime Blue has been absolutely fantastic with customer service and I highly recommend!

This time of year can be a bit of a spanner in the works for gauging fresh coffee supply needs, good news is we're usually able to be fairly flexible when customers to change their designated order dispatch dates. Nice idea, you don't want to run out of the good stuff, so it's good to plan ahead. Thank you so much for queuing up more Lime Blue orders, it's truly appreciated :)

  • Love the beans. Ordered another couple bags. Wish the rail issues are solved so WA and SA can enjoy the flat $6.99 shipping, rather than $9.99 express. Thanks

    • +1

Terrific, thank you so much for the compliment and placing another order with us, it's truly appreciated!

Completely appreciate that every dollar adds up over time. However, on the bright side, from the speed of Express shipping the extra $3 is resulting in a far superior delivery experience to these regions; especially our WA customers, rail used to be delivered in 1-2 weeks and generally speaking now Express is getting delivered in 2-3 business days to WA :)

  • Ordered 1kg Brazil and 500g of decaf. Love it!

    • Fantastic, sincerely appreciate that combo order and very happy to see the "love it" comment too, thank you so much!!!

  • What's the roast dates if we get delayed shipping?

    • +1

Hey @d0nkey appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

The roast date will vary depending on the dispatch date you select "… (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting" :)

  • Very happy with LB's coffee and service. My preferred ozb coffee supplier 👍

    • Wonderful, thank you so much for the complimentary feedback!

Absolute music to my ears to know that we're in your good books at the top spot, we won't take it for granted and will keep working hard to stay there :) :) :)

No love for MTM blend? :(

    • We've always got love for our Moments to Memories blend!!!

Moments was one of the coffees featured on our last deal about a month ago, guessing you missed that one because at the time you could have scheduled your dispatch up until the end of February. We think one deal at a time is good fishing, so future deals are promised to no one as we only focus on the most recent deal. If you're all stocked up the next time you see us post a deal for Moments to Memories, then I highly recommend you make the most of that deal by placing your order/s and select a future dispatch date/s :)

  • Is the SO Brazil good for Phillips Lattego? I mainly drink strong long black. Anyone have experience?

  • Thank you! I’m really digging the delayed shipping. Currently still going through two bags I snagged from your last deal.

    • Fantastic to hear, very glad you're a fan of our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system!

Really appreciate the recent order, thank you so much :)

  • Understanding coffee is very subjective, but has anyone tried both Lime Blue's decaf beans and Airjo's decaf? If so, thoughts? Cheers.

    • I haven't, but watching to see if a certain someone replies.

    • +1

As a matter of fact, I have. My personal opinion is that Lime Blue's decaf taste better, and I attribute that to the freshness of the beans. With Lime Blue they roast in micro batches so the beans are shipped within a few days of roasting, and aren't sitting around for lengthy periods first. All coffee goes through a process of degassing (ever notice how your tightly sealed bag of beans is mysteriously puffy after a day or so?) and this will alter the flavour profile over time. It's generally accepted that coffee reaches its peak about a week after roasting*, so with Lime Blue's advance scheduling you can be pretty much assured your coffee arrives very close to its best.

*Apparently the method of brewing can make this period differ. For short-water-contact methods (i.e. espresso) you're supposed to allow 7-14 day for degassing to occur. For long-contact methods (e.g. French press, drip filter, etc) then less degassing is needed and you can start using the beans a few days earlier. There are lengthy discussions (and passionate arguments) all over the Internet so it can be an interesting topic to research.

      • Thanks Chazz. Giving 500g a shot, and we'll see how it goes.

  • Brazil São Paulo Single Origin is so good, not affiliated

Great with milk / Really good for an iced americano in these 30 degree days

    • Agreed !

  • Been ordering the Colombia since Oct last year, ordered the Brazil this time, do I hugely need to adjust my Breville settings?

    • +2

Morning @Gloomy appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

It shouldn't mean a huge adjustment, you may need to go one notch finer with the stepped Breville settings, it will depend on the calibration and sharpness of your burrs.

You may already know the following, but can't hurt to mention it…it's best to adjust your Breville burr settings while the burrs are moving and discard about half a shot after each adjustment, otherwise your next shot will have half of the old grind setting and half of the new grind setting :)

  • Thanks again Tom! My go to beans for over a year now!!

    • WOW @Deal-Sniper that's amazing to hear!!!

Thank you truly for sticking with us, your continued orders sincerely mean so much to us :)

  • My favourite beans!

    • Music to my ears @SmashedMango thank you so much for that wonderful vote of confidence :)

I'm wrapped to know how much you love our fresh coffee!

  • Hi guys new to making your own coffee here. My friend just bought me moccamaster as a gift. Can I get a bag of beans and go to a local cafe and ask them to grind it for me?

    • +1

You can order them ground, when you're ordering change the size from 'beans' to 'ground filter'.

      • Thank you. I assume I need to choose “ground filter” given my machine uses a filter?

        • +1

Morning @sauce2k sounds like your friend knows how to give a terrific gift!

Spot on, ground filter should be the winner for you :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: thank you will order 1kg to try. I drink black coffee only, so hopefully the single orgin beans will work

            • @sauce2k: Sounds terrific!

I can promise you'll they'll work from an extraction perspective, hope you love the flavour :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: additional question - do these have expiry date? I'm the only one in the house drinking coffee

            • @sauce2k: Coffee (before it's made contact with a liquid) is considered a non hazardous food, which means consuming stale coffee shouldn't make you sick, it just won't taste nice and fresh. Generally speaking you'll want to consume coffee in roughly a month after it's been roasted, that way you can enjoy it when it's in its prime. You can extend the freshness by putting a sealed bag in a zip lock bag and then into the freezer, this will rapidly slow oxidation, thus increasing the length of freshness. If you don't think you'll go through 1kg in roughly a month, then perhaps order 1kg in 500g bags AKA 2x500g then freeze one bag while you're enjoying the other :)

              • @LimeBlueCoffee: Thanks for the reply. Can I ask, if say I do take it out of the freezer a month later do i just leave it at room temperature let it "dry" then use it?

                • @sauce2k: Nice follow up question!

You can use it straight away if you're in a rush, but if you have the time I'd recommend waiting for it to get to room temp temperature (it shouldn't take too long). Also once the bag has been defrosted and opened I don't recommend putting it back in the freezer :)

      • @slimpickings nice answer assist, thank you for the chime in,much apprecaited :)

  • Was a regular buyer at Airjo but made the switch to Lime Blue mid last year and have no regrets. Coffee tastes better, option for delayed dispatch so you never have to worry about running out of beans whilst waiting for their next sale and comes with a bonus Tim Tam!

  • Are you planning to do a sale on the Colombia Huila Single Origin as well?

    • Hey @lpiccoli appreciate you reaching out to check!

I think we likely will at some point, but no promises. We tend to focus on one deal at a time, so for the moment this current deal is our focus :)

  • Haven't tried Decaf beans before,
could anyone tell me how does Decaf beans taste?

    • +1

taste is similar to the regular ones to be honest. really good if you wanna have a coffee at night and still want to sleep well. It is nice to have this one as an alternative

      • +1

Ordered 1kg Brazil and 500g of decaf!

  • Hi @LimeBlueCoffee,

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but it's showing as $29.99/kg for the Brazil SO. Just tried to checkout now..

    Thanks

    • +1

Hey @alan13 appreciate the double check!

I believe you've selected 2x500g bags, as opposed to a 1x1kg bag. On the product page under the packaging menu you can select between 500g and 1kg bags :)

      • Ah got it, thank you!

Must be time for another coffee!

        • Perfect!

haha always time for another coffee :)

  • Got this last time. Delivery was delayed but not really their fault so cant complain. The Brazil SO has a great taste. I used to get Airjo but this has become our favourite.

  • Thank you! The last bag of Brazil São Paulo was really nice, and this is a really good discount :)

  • Can't believe I almost missed this. Ordered from the last deal and it's the best beans I have had yet! I have already picked up a kilo for this month from elsewhere, so I am glad there was a delayed shipping option. Will be enjoying this for the month of March! Thank you again for a great deal

    • +1

Morning @RhythmicJAY28 very happy you didn't miss out!

That's outstanding positive feedback to receive, wonderful to hear how much you've been enjoying the good stuff and that our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system is a winner for you :)

Thank you so much for placing another order with us, it's truly apprecaited!

  • Is this good for milk based drinks? I read single origin beans generally don't mix well with milk.

Keen to try if ok with milk.

    • Hey @browse nice double check, better safe than sorry!

Hmm I think that article may have been referring to the fact across the industry there's likely more light roasts that are Single Origins as opposed to Blends.

On our product page we indicate whether each of our coffees is suited to black, milked based or both. You're in for a real treat, as per our Brazil SO product page description "absolutely incredible white, it's the best suited Single Origin for milk based coffee we've ever featured. That said it's still delicious as a black coffee" :)

      • Thank you for confirming, will feedback after trying.

    • I have had this bean 4 times now and i exclusively drink it with milk. It is one of my favourite brews, though i would say their moments to memories is my absolute favorite with milk.

  • Ordered, thanks for the deal.

    • Terrific to hear, you're most welcome, thank you so much for your order, it really means a lot!

  • There you go, I ordered and got you to 170 votes. I do love 'the moments to memories' , so hoping that is on special next time

    • How wonderful @tnarg :) :) :)

Thank you sincerely for placing another order with us and giving us our 170th up vote for this deal, it's truly appreciated. We're now only 2 up votes away from breaking our up vote record, fingers crossed we'll have a new record to beat soon, exciting times!

Music to my ears to know you "love" our Moments to Memories blend. We tend to focus on one deal at a time, so I'm not sure when Moments will be on special again, but I'm sure it will be at some point this year :)

  • This was excellent
    Would buy again

    • Woohoo music to my ears, that's wonderful feedback to receive!

Thank you so much for letting us know :)
