Always leave your old sim in your phone until it stops working, before switching to the new sim.
Always restart your phone after you've switched to a new sim
I've never done this before and haven't had any issues. I pretty frequently change Sims over for family etc and have had zero issues so far.
You don't always need to depending on your device and carrier, but if you do it every time, then you'll almost never have issues
The old sim tip was important for me.
Usually I restart my stuff when doing anything new but this time I think I didn't.
Leave the previous sim in the phone until the changeover
if you didn't receive the sms to port, ring up Kogan and ask for them to resend the port out confirmation sms again. (Kogan never did this part for me and i had to follow them up for it)
once done, wait 10 minutes or so and restart the phone when you lose reception on the old sim.Simplez.
Update: it all went smoothly I just had to give it some time for me it was ready to go overnight when I woke up this morning you just need to keep the old sim in to get the verification number to approve and continue the transfer then put in the kogan sim after that is completed

yeah basically it can take up 24 hours or more if they are backlogged or maybe public holiday but mine was all good and done and dusted thanks i just needed to change sims to get the code off the old sim to transfer but its all good now
Try power off for 5 ? minutes then on?
