Free little sachet of cocaine included
Prefer gravy. Is that the slang for coke nowadays?
There is a bit of controversy about red rooster not having many customers (empty carparks and drive through) but still being able to be a profitable successful "buisness model"
I need a deepfried pineapple with mine
I'm not a fan of RR gravy, it's not as good as KFC for instance.
Ah. gotcha. I thought they were a money launderer that sells chicken.
The one near me looks legitimately like an abandoned building
Employees in chullora got confused when i was trying to redeem an app offer a few years back. 3 of them didnt know how to navigate POS machine. 4th one legit looked like a drug dealer, massive steroid muscles with tats all over
I claimed an app offer a few years ago and I heard the manager telling off the girl that served me for honoring it…
Two things I do not like about red rooster:
1 the employee has no experience or training on the online component when a customer comes in, only winging it and being surprised such system worked.
2 the compulsory Mobile number with orders online.
Plus this one's for free, the gravy tastes like warm custard with water and salt 🤢
3 - rooster rolls are lava hot on the ends, and arctic in the middle…. their microwaves are crap.
Who evers running the show at redRooster in 2023's just baffling, because the amount of source and information they have to take redRooster to the next levels there online the only thing redRooster has over KFC is the chicken it's just dam good, everything else makes KFC Great.
I mean chicken poultry compared to meats more affordable, but I cannot fathom how they survived this long.
It's baffling anset and Holden went under but redRooster just roos through.
Maybe just maybe someone should do REDroo, dam nothing but Roo meat.
Why do you keep stylising Red Rooster as redRooster?
@Lucille Bluth: He/She is a programmer? camelCase?
this one is easy fast food joints are just real estate investors
Their rolls are heated by chef microwave? I would have thought even a small grill oven like Subway would be better.
I've never had that problem, and rooster rolls are my go to at RR, they are so good, especially considering they're microwaved!
No RR in Sydney CBD :(
Maybe that's why, if they had redRooster in a CBD they'd get so much backlash, best to keep the dying rooster hidden in the streets.
No point. Southern Cross (Melb CBD) have 2 RR but they dont participate in these deals anyways.
Not like the old days, when you'd get a good size 1/4 chicken and the box would filled with chips. Now 1/4 small chicken and small chips in a bag.
I swear there were about 10 chips in a similar box last time i got one
Maybe it looked bigger cos you were smaller back then
Get outta here Cadbury
wait until you see the size of a quarter chicken at nandos
15 years ago a whole chicken at nandos was cut into 8 decent sized pieces. Now its cut in 4 but each piece is definitely not twice the size of the old ones
when chicken treat were running a similar deal I was actually surprised at how good it was, as you say…. good size 1/4 chicken and box full of chips , few months ago in perth.
The image is misleading. Ours came with the hot chips in a small bag.
For $5.00 the kids enjoyed it. 😊It isn’t just RR. No Macca’s, HJ’s, KFC etc meal looks like the advertising, unless it is nuggets on in the case or KFC their fried chicken (they burgers/rolls still don’t look like the photos)
last time I went to Macca's for large fries it was like $4 lol, think that'll be the last time for reals
In restaurants only, what no drive-thru !
That means no delivery. You can get drive through :)
just went to Surrey hills (vic),, was told this starts tomorrow
Updated! Just saw the advertising but it didn’t have a start date.
Same here in Northbridge (WA).
I can't believe someone negged me for wishing it came with gravy. Some OzBer's are strange and mysterious people.
Some? That’s way off
It's a pretty good deal already, and RR gravy is pretty crap, so that's two reasons for getting downvotes (not me btw).
Used to be $2.
I’m old.Wicked wings used to be $2 per pack lol
show/sample bags used to be free too….
I remember the old $2 quarter chicken and chips days.
That was my dinner many a night.
However, it would have been about thirty years ago! Also remember the price increasing to something odd like $2.05 and school kids who didn’t get the memo with only $2.00 asking the cashier “does it matter?” (it did lol)
you used to be young
Bugger preferred the $4 Reds Burger deal
I remember in the 90s these were $2.50 on tuesday. I'd get like 3 and stuff myself. Now days the idiots who owned the red rooster store down the road from me closed because they didnt know what the hell they were doing. Close at 9:30pm, but you go at 9 and they'd be shut. People eat later in the evenings you know!
My local closes at 8pm. If you not there before 730, unlikely you'll get an order.
I've seen them close before 730pm.
You're lucky if still open at 9pm…How are they even in business anymore. I'd hate to see the drive thru line after work.
Always want to get this but no Red Rooster close to where I live
Just go to KFC and get the to go box. Can buy anytime.
That's not roast chicken though, and not really close to the same value really.
Dear RR, can I choose which quarter of the chook I want? 😅
I usually get asked whether I want breast or drumstick, so…yeah?
next time confuse your server by asking for the left drumstick qtr only. Definately don't want the right side. That's nasty. :p
RR near my house but I work office hours so I can never get this :/
Just got the ⅓ chicken and chips for a late lunch after I managed to get there.
Ordered at the speaker, "quarter chicken and chips thanks"
No worries, drive fwd to the pick up/pay window.
Young guy says, "$9.45"
I said, "hang on, isn't it 5 bucks?"
Look at clock in car, 3:55pm.
Still within the cut off time
"Oh, that's a different quarter chicken and chips"
What the…..
How is there two different quarter chicken and chips?
Is a quarter no longer a quarter when you pay slightly less…..
🤷
If only it included gravy.
