      If you can access Lenovo Education store, this cable can be bought for $14 delivered. I can't test 100W power delivery, but this cable charges my 65w laptop and can do video output just fine.

        I have this cable (lenovo usbC one). Works well with 100W power delivery to laptop from charger or pd from my hub. It transfers files definitely more than 480Mbps.

      Basically that's only good for 5Gbps? I wanted to use for my 10Gbps ports.

      Not sure if my HDD does that, but I assume external SSD would.

    For those undecided….upgrading to a cable with a light on the end is great for people who regularly fumble around looking for the damn thing.

    Heads up, Baseus lightning cables are very flimsy. Compared to apple cables, the lightning connector end snaps very easily if bumped or if you're a little rough.

    I've been through 2 already whilst my apple cable is still going strong. Mcdodo is another strong brand I'd recommend.

      I had few and I won’t recommend it as well. Stopped working after few weeks. I have mcdodo and it’s very strong comparing to baseus.

        Thanks for the suggestion, it depends on the use case regarding convenience though.

        They are useful sometimes, but I am only going to ever use the cable on a micro-USB device it would be inconvenient to have the extra two cables dangling off.

        Plus they are bulky and also not double sided for the micro-sub. Lastly also more expensive.

      Most of the things I have with microUSB now are just for charging, not for data, so I've gone to mag-safe type cables. When I get up to leave my desk at the end of work, I just wave the cable near my headphone and mouse charging points and they snap on. They're not very good for fast charging or data, but you can't beat them for normal charging convenience.

        Yeah I'm using some cheap Amazon magnetic ones for kids tablets as they seem to destroy cables, these also have rotating ends which are handy, charging is very slow though.

        I've been meaning to look into them more. I like the idea of saving wear on the charging port also.

    I purchased 2 cables 4 weeks ago and they provided a tracking number within a day only to never be shipped. Contacted them 3 times and each time would get an automated response saying they are all on leave for 2 days each time. After getting ebay involved they offered refund saying they have no stock.
