I've been having a hard time looking through stores to find a stand out deal on a good gaming laptop for under $1000. Anybody have any suggestions?
Gaming laptop deal for under $1000?

Maybe something like this?

has a Nvidia 640m but its DDR3 not DDR 5 as far as I can tell but it shouldnt make too much of a difference if you're not using full HD screens(I think AFAIK)

JB had a deal not long ago for 20% off Acer laptops and got one of these. Not $797 anymore but still under a thousand.
Totally worth it. Plays most games awesome just not at high.
Here's an example:

Yeah it's over your price but if you want to game seriously don't stuff around with Graphics cards below Nvidia GTX X60 (or ATI alternatives).
Or alternatively I might be thinking of selling my Asus G73JW (same except CPU is generation 1 i7 as opposed to aboves gen 2). PM me if interested.
