Then get more spam‼️.. If the OP and mods have a problem with this comment, it's not just true - but FACT‼️ Nothing comes for free and no freebies. It's all about marketing too. Normally, they already have the winner in their books.

Myself, and many other fellow OZBers, have won giveaways for free. Yes, we might get spam in our emails and random phone calls, but that's what burner accounts are for.

Do you have an icloud account? Learn how to use hide my email, its great for things like this.
And then delete the email address after the competition has ended.

outlook gives you about 10 free aliases. they're awesome

Any email co's do such like that. You are all Suckers. You wonder why u get spam on your phones, and complain about it. That's why I don't enter comps, for starters. Yeh?.. "Look at me, I brag because I won this or that!" Woopdee-DOO‼️

If you have a gmail account, there is a neat trick. I dont think ive ever met anyone that actually knows it.

say your email is [email protected].

you can add +anything to the end of your username, and the mail will still hit your inbox.

      [email protected]
      [email protected]
      [email protected]

you can then create seperate folders in your inbox, then just create email filters such as:

"if receipient is [email protected], put mail in Bills folder"
"if receipient is [email protected], put mail in Marketing folder"
"if receipient is [email protected], put mail in Competitions folder"

you dont need to register any of the aliases. it just looks at anything before the + sign. You could literally send an email to [email protected] right now and it will still hit your mailbox.

        That IS a good trick.

To go one step further, put [email protected] (or john+name of [email protected]) so that you know which companies are selling your email address to third parties.

      • or create an email that you use only to sign up to competitions. On the gmail (or yahoo etc) website and apps, you can switch between emails addresses in about 1 second. I have 5 emails for various things (eg personal, business, competitions)
