A nice basic wired gamepad, with better analog sticks than the typical amazon cheapies.
Lowest on CamelCamelCamel.

All the reviews are for the other colour without the bonus thumbcaps

It ships from 8bitdo official so should be solid.
thanks
Will this work on my nvidia shield?
If only wireless
You need to have prime to get it at this price otherwise it's $55.95.
Thanks, updated
I have the wireless version of this controller and it's decent. Here's some of my thoughts on it:
I wanted to get this to play iPad games but then noticed it is not wireless
This controller looks like the exact size and shape that the wii classic controller that had some poor reviews for not being as comfortable to hold, making it undesirable compared to the ps3 and xb360 at the time. Why would someone make this shape controller now?
8bitdo specialises in retro styled controllers. This one is supposed to be a remake of the SNES controllers, but with analog sticks for modern games.
I know, but just because people like retro gaming, doesn't necessarily mean they want ha d cramps and rsi, we've moved on from that
I have the bluetooth version - it's great for a travel/portable controller, that is much more compact than a regular controller. I've never suffered hand cramps or RSI from using it for that purpose.
Also used as an extra controller for casual party gaming, etc, and some people actually prefer using it to other options. (Probably nostalgia, etc)
Never had anyone complain about using it - only people loving it.
YMMV.
@caprimulgus: I have the wireless version which came with a dongle for the snes mini, but I never managed to get an snes mini so I haven't tried it. Do you happen to know if that is using regular RF or if it is Bluetooth?
I picked it up cheap, I think it was around 10 bucks from EB
@Jackson: I believe they make both (wifi and bluetooth versions) - so not sure what one it would be that you have.
I have big hands, and this controller is ok, but is absolutely no where near as good as the 8Bitdo Pro 2 that has a similar shape to the PS4 controller. But if you are getting this to play NES and SNES games, or PS1/PS2 games its excellent for it. It feels bigger than a SNES controller.
The pro2 just got posted for less than 9 bucks more
That is the superior option.
OOS
Better get the wireless one as it supports PC, Android, Switch and iOS
I have the wireless one that has the dongle for a snes mini, do you know if you can use it with anything else? Or if they sell the other dongle separately for usb?
i have been using my SF30 Pro (the one with the original SNES button colour) without any dongle. It is also compatible with the $15 gameclip for you to use on your phone: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B089ZY9HRX
Start + Y = For Nintendo Switch
Start + X = For Windows
Start + B = For Android
Start + A = For iOS
You have to switch mode first before pressing the pairing button at the top.
But once paired, you can just press Start + Y to reconnect to Switch or press Start + X to reconnect to your PC
great third party controllers this mob make.
im not a big fan of wired but i can see their place.
i still use my ps4 controller and grip for phone and can play all my favs with retro arch.
