7 inches ain't big. fold an a4 in half, then half again… that's your screen size.
depends what size you prefer looking at.
go road test a few.. perhaps JB in Westfields CBD is worth a look.. they have a few on display from memory.Thanx….screen size trick is interesting

+1 to a few test drives! If you're mainly using it sitting around on the couch or something then IMHO a 10" tablet is a good size…however, if you're out'n'about with it a lot then 7" is the better bet! :)
For 7" screens, comics should be fine, but also depends on what kind of comics. For my nook color (7") I find manga very easy to read at home and on trains, with the screen fitting one page. On my ipad the only difference is that the screen will fit 2 pages but to me there is no difference.
yeah test out the larger 9-10" screens, it really does make reading/viewing a lot nicer experience then the 7" tablets, as you find you don't have to zoom & scroll so much.
7" can be quite strange size if you are not 100% sure what you want.

but too small to watch movie or browse web.You make a good point, although for me 10" tablet is too bulky for public transport etc. Especially in syd metro

me too…. I have the original galaxy and the touchpad…. much prefer the galaxy for ease of use and portability…. will (just) fit in a jacket pocket.
7inch is perfect for comic. I'm still happy with my galaxy tab.
download: Perfect Viewer and this is the best for reading comic! It can auto cut 2 pages book into single page!
you should go test them out for youself..
the galaxy tab 2 is also 7 inch so that should have the same feel as the nexus 7 (dont buy the tab 2)
i find that 10inchs tabs are quite heavy
