Reminder to Use Your TheGoodGuys Store Cash That Expires in 10 Days

If you made an eligible purchase (IIRC the promotion was for orders placed and delivered by 23 December) that granted you StoreCash, you should receive the StoreCash today, and have 10 days to use it.

Very cheeky T&Cs as we knew.

If you don't see the StoreCash, it was supposed to be granted today (as per the T&Cs, every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month). I had to contact their live chat to check that I received it, and had to manually update my wallet to see it.

This is the instructions I followed from their staff (for Apple users):

"So in your digital wallet there should be 3 little dots or an "i" in a circle, if you click that you should be able to see "pass details". Please click on that and turn off automatic updates then turn it back on and refresh the app"

    Been like that since day 1 for the storecash promo just many don’t read the t and c and just assume it’s indefinite expiration . GG game has has always been about trying to fuel impulse buys. Before this it was concierge credit which had shorter expiration.

    Got the email says store cash arrived this morning, but couldn’t see it in my wallet.
    Thanks for sharing the trick of turning off and on the auto updates of the wallet. I’m now able to see the store cash code, cheers!

    That's if you're lucky enough to even get it, going by other comments I and many others didn't even receive ours. TGG store credits are so deliberately convoluted, they absolutely could have made a better system that had barcodes that are scanned in store and confirmed on the receipt that they scanned and you met the eligibility but instead we have this system where staff must use your phone number to link it to your account and then you've just got to hope that on a 2nd or 4th Thursday it comes through.

      Yeah I bought two separate items that were supposed to give me $70 StoreCash each… turns out that you are only eligible for a StoreCash promotion once (i.e. I didn't get the $70 for the second transaction). RIP

    Im chasing TGG for a $90 store credit that has not appeared.

    $20 concierge credits appear as have subsequent purchases, but the Nov 27 purchase has shown nothing!

    Th equivalent Android app 3 dots only shows the option to 'Remove' and by doing that you opt out of the promotion.

    Interestingly it says 5 offers available but its not clickable.

    Clicking details only shows the $20 concierge credit. and expiry date.

    Wish I thought to google this when I bought our dishwasher earlier in the year… it took so long to get the storecash I kinda didnt notice it when it landed in my email and when I thought to go use it, it was already expired!! wtf…
