The Iconic Shoes Chemical Smell

I bought some leather shoes and it came with a chemical smell that hasn't gone away. Has anyone else experienced this?

Were you able to get rid of the smell? Did you return the shoes?

Bought 6 pairs from The Iconic. No issues what so ever. If it bothers you, contact their support. They are very helpful.

omg i thought it was just me! it had that smell, so i kept it aside and forgot it until this post… What could the reason be?

Also, the hush puppies I bought were not as nice or comfy as I expected them to be. a bad batch perhaps?

I havn't shopped with "The Iconic" as yet,but i did buy an expensive pair of shoes once that had a "chemical,glue like " smell about them.I had got them from a reputable OS dealer,but i still did a little "Googling" and it came up on all searches that it can be the sign of (lets just say )"NOT SO EXPENSIVE" shoes.That smell may be glue used to manufacture the shoes in less than legit places.So if it's that kind of smell,take a closer look at the workmanship AND call The Iconic for some clarification.
