50% off Hylamide, The Chemistry Brand, Abnomaly + $7.99 Shipping ($0 with $30 Order) @ Deciem

280

Deciem (parent company behind The Ordinary) is discontinuing these three brands and all remaining stock is now 50% off. The products include:

  • HA Blur (primer) $7.50
  • SubQ Skin $17 - something to consider if you like The Ordinary's Buffet (now multi-peptide + HA serum) - see comparison article
  • SubQ Eyes $14
  • SubQ Mist $11

Hylamide was the 'middle tier' brand from Deciem and sat between The Ordinary and NIOD in terms of formulas and price. They were generally more complex and expensive compared to The Ordinary as Hylamide combined multiple active ingredients to target specific skin concerns, and a lot of The Ordinary formulas were based on one or two star ingredients (with the exception of Buffet). But these days The Ordinary formulas are becoming more comprehensive (such as their buffet + copper peptide) and sometimes more expensive than Hylamide products. So it makes sense that Deciem want to streamline their products to just The Ordinary and NIOD. Nonetheless, Hylamide have good formulas and 50% off is a bargain.

Wonder if theres expiry date ?

    • There's no expiry date printed on the products themselves, but there's a 3 year shelf life. From FAQ

A few products such as NIOD CAIL 1% and our sun protection products will have an expiry date noted on the packaging.

For all others, the shelf life is three years when unopened and stored at room temperature. This is the regulatory threshold for testing. Upon opening, please refer to the period-after-opening (PAO) symbol to identify the lifetime of the product.
